Has the New ‘Bachelorette’ Already Been Chosen!?

Suck it, Tierra!

The women that were rejected on this season of The Bachelor were all clamoring hard last night on the “Women Tell All” special to become the next Bachelorette, a slot that, according to ABC, is still open. The ladies were casually tossing out quotes about how they’d love to find their soul mate and are open to love, etc. (More on that later!)

However, according to a new report by ‘Bachelor’ guru and spoiler extraordinaire, Reality Steve, the new ‘Bachelorette’ has already been chosen! Although AshLee, Sarah and Lesley were all seemingly strong contenders to be the next ‘Bachelorette,’ Steve is claiming that ABC has decided to go with Desiree Hartsock for next season!

“The deal was 99% done to being finalized. Well, it is. Desiree is your next ‘Bachelorette,'” Steve posted on his website this morning. “She will be announced next Monday during the live ATFR show after the 2-hour finale airs, and she begins filming Sunday night, March 17th.”

Desiree, with her wholesome Katie-Holmes-on-Dawson’s-Creek looks and her sweet disposition, seems like a good choice. Most of America felt bad for her when she was sabotaged by her own brother during her Hometown Date with Sean, and are hoping that she’ll be able to find love.

In fact, even her “ex-boyfriend,” Sean Lowe, is hoping she’ll get a second shot at getting her soul mate on!

“I know Des has moved on, and I’m hoping she gets a second chance at love – maybe on the next season of The Bachelorette? She would definitely get my vote,” he wrote in his People magazine blog.

Of course, this has not been confirmed, but Steve is rarely, if ever wrong, and even The Ashley predicted that Des would become the new ‘Bachelorette.’ ABC had a strong season with the wholesome Sean, and are most likely hoping to keep the ratings up by casting a wholesome female lead.

The Ashley’s thrilled that having Des as ‘The Bachelorette’ means we haven’t seen the last of good ol’ Nate Hartsock!
