The exact second Jeremy realized he was the winner!

On Tuesday, Biggest Loser fans watched as 23-year-old Jeremy Britt took home the $250,000 grand prize during the finale special of what was possibly the most dramatic season in the show’s 13 season history. From daily emotional breakdowns (cough…Conda…cough), to contestants whining about being bullied to the dramatic walk-off of two contestants, Season 13 was nothing less than captivating.

Although the finale was less eventful, there were still a few things that the live studio audience got to see that the TV viewers at home didn’t.

1) Last season’s lovebirds Ramon Medeiros and Jessica Limpert cuddled and snuck kisses throughout the finale. The pair was seated in the section reserved for the show’s alumni and rarely left each other’s side. During one commercial break, Ramon made his girlfriend laugh by chanting trainer Dolvett Quince’s catchphrase “Hard Work! Dedication!” Several former contestants joined him and Dolvett for the impromptu motivational chant. READ MORE »

Biggest Loser alum Stephanie Anderson and Sam Poueu showed off their latest accessory–wedding rings!– at last night’s ‘Biggest Loser’ finale. The couple tied the knot just days before in a ceremony in San Francisco!

The couple has gone through a lot in the past year (click here to read more about that). It’s so great to see them finally get a happy ending!

‘Biggest Loser’ Producer Answers Questions About Walk-Out

After Tuesday’s dramatic “Walk Out” episode of The Biggest Loser, viewers were left with quite a few questions as to what will happen to the contestants that chose to walk off the show. (If you have no idea what The Ashley is talking about right now, click here to catch up!)

In an interview with the New York Post, the show’s executive producer Todd Lubin discussed what actually happened with the contestants on that fateful day on the ranch back in February, and what the future will bring for Buddy Shuh and Mark Cornelius, the two contestants that hit the bricks in protest and didn’t come back.

Q: Why did they choose to show the walk out?

Todd Lubin: “We’re not into faking anything, and there’s not a lot we want to hide on this show. When the guys quit, it bummed me out, and I was so hurt . . . I didn’t look calm and cool [on the episode] because I cared so much and worried they were thumbing their noses [at the show].” READ MORE »

A Day in the Life of ‘Biggest Loser’ Trainer Dolvett Qunice!

Ever wonder what it would be like to wake up next to super-hot Biggest Loser trainer Dolvett Quince and follow him around for the day? (At the risk of sounding like a creepy stalker, I must admit that this thought has crossed my mind once–or twenty–times.)

Dolvett recently posted this YouTube video of what a typical day is like for him, hoping that it will show fans of the show that, despite being a fitness God, he’s just a regular person who gets stressed out and has self-doubt.

Pretty sure he's reading The Ashley's Reality Roundup.

We start with Dolvett rolling out of bed (in his undies!!) and ordering breakfast, answering Twitter questions from fans, doing yoga and going about his day.

“It’s really difficult for me to have a responsibility at the ranch, have responsibility of the contestants, meeting my own agendas, and running a gym in an entirely different state,” Dolvett said in the video. “I get overwhelmed with just giving myself to so many.” READ MORE »

‘Biggest Loser’ Contestants Almost Unrecognizable After Makeovers!

This week on Biggest Loser, the remaining contestants were treated to some pretty fancy Hollywood makeovers. This is one of the only episodes of this show that The Ashley never misses! She loves makeover shows. (‘Member when they used to do those atrocious makeovers on “The Ricki Lake Show” back in the 1990s? I lived for that crap!)

Anyway, this season’s makeovers were some of the best I’ve seen in a long time on the show. The contestants were styled by Ken Paves (aka hair stylist to the stars and BFF of Jessica Simpson). While all of them came out looking fantastic, a few were downright unrecognizable! It was like watching an episode of The Swan or something. (God I miss that show…anyone else?)

If you’re anything like The Ashley, you’re probably too lazy to watch the full two hours of the show, so let’s just fast-forward to the good part and show off the makeovers!

Conda looked so different that her daughter didn’t even recognize her at first!

Former ‘Biggest Loser’ Contestants Respond to This Season’s Contestant Walkout

"Quit your whining! You're making us look bad!"

Last week, things on the Biggest Loser ranch exploded as the remaining Season 13 contestants walked off the set after learning that the producers had plans to bring back eliminated players and make them eligible to win the grand prize. (Read all about that story here!)

According to TMZ, most of the players eventually came back and continued to film; however two of the contestants have officially been given the boot!

Surprisingly, past contestants of the show are siding with production, rather than the Season 13 contestants. (That’s probably because nobody likes them…not even Bob Harper, as evident here from his comments!)

“I think the show has lost its soul,” Amy Parham of Season 6 told The Ashley. “That’s tragic because hope is what the struggling viewer needs not drama!”

‘Biggest Loser’ Contestants Threaten to Quit After Learning About Twist!

"Oh hell no!"

There’s been some major drama brewing over at the Biggest Loser Ranch this week! The Ashley heard from her inside source that there was some unrest happening over there earlier this morning, and TMZ has just broken the official story that nearly all of this season’s contestants have walked off the show!

The contestants walked off the show and threatened to quit after learning about a horrific end-of-season twist that could cost them their shot at the $250,000 grand prize. Apparently, the producers were thinking about bringing back all of the already-eliminated contestants to compete for the grand prize at end of the season.

Obviously, the contestants had a right to be pissed off, as this is a terrible idea. Having the players that were eliminated come back and be eligible for the big money is a slap in the face to the contestants that have worked hard and survived until the end. READ MORE »

‘Biggest Loser’ Trainer Bob Harper Not a Fan of This Season’s Contestants

: “You guys better behave or I’ll bring Anna Kournikova back!”

Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper is known for being cheerful and positive; however he had very few positive things to say about this season’s crop of ‘Biggest Loser’ contestants.

”[They're] bullies,” he told RadarOnline last night at the Men’s Fitness March issue launch party in Los Angeles. (Bob is the issue’s cover model!)

“They hate me saying that but…you know what? It’s true. It’s nasty and it’s tough,” he said.

When Bob was asked by Radar if he liked any of this season’s contestants, he answered truthfully.

“I mean…no,” he told them. However, he did take that statement back and told Radar that there were a few contestants that he liked and were there for the right reasons. READ MORE »

Jillian Michaels Gets Booted From ‘The Doctors’ After One Season

Uh-oh. It looks like Jillian Michaels got Kournikova’d!

Jillian has apparently been “let go” from the CBS show The Doctors after only one season, with insiders telling the New York Post that she “just wasn’t a good fit” for the show.

Ironically, this is exactly what happened to Anna Kournikova who was Jillian’s replacement on her previous show, The Biggest Loser. Anna got the boot after only one season because she failed to gel with the contestants and the audience.

Jillian joined ‘The Doctors’ in September. (The cast also includes former Bachelor star Travis Stork, as well as several other physicians.)

Behind the Scenes of the ‘Biggest Loser’ Season 12 Finale & After Party!

Another season of The Biggest Loser wrapped up on Tuesday night, with John Rhode being named the winner at the end of the night. (The Ashley predicted he would win before the season even began, as you might remember. That’s because she’s the best!)

Anyway, The Ashley spent Tuesday night creeping around the ‘Biggest Loser’ finale and after party to get you guys the inside scoop of what these finales are actually like. Here are my observations from that night:

Finale Taping:

Someone has to say it: was this not the worst ‘Biggest Loser’ finale ever? For the first time ever, producers decided to introduce the contestants in groups of four and then only allow one from each group suit up into their ‘Biggest Loser’ spandex suits and get on the scale. Um…whose bright idea was this? The Ashley felt so bad for the contestants who got cheated out of their moment in the spotlight.

The best part of watching these finales is getting to see how far the contestants have come from when they started the season. I love seeing the ‘before’ photos and then seeing the contestants burst throught them, skinny and confident. For some of the contestants, such as poor Jessica Limpert, they didn’t even announce how much weight was lost.

The Ashley wasn’t the only one that thought this was a terrible idea. Several of the contestants were upset that they were robbed of their big moment.
