“Buy my book, y’all!”

Over the years, Teen Mom star Maci Bookout has mentioned that she plans to release a book about her life and time on the show, but until now details about the book have been vague. This week, Maci appeared on DJ Malone’s Blogtalk radio program and revealed all of the details of her upcoming book!

“I’m writing a book that will be out at the end of this year and I’m really excited about that because I’ve always been a writer,” Maci told DJ Malone. “I’ve worked really, really hard on this book for like three or four years now and I cannot wait for it to come out because it’s going to be amazing.”

Maci went on to describe what we can expect to read in her autobiography. Apparently the book will include behind-the-scenes glimpses of her time on MTV.

“We’re coming back, y’all!”

A while back, The Ashley told you that MTV had been contacting many of the girls that had appeared on the four seasons of 16 and Pregnant, in hopes of doing another “Where Are They Now?” catch-up special. The Ashley has spoken with several of the girls, who have mentioned that MTV called them for an update, but will only be featuring some of the girls in the catch-up special.

One of the girls that was apparently chosen to be featured in the special was Season 1′s Whitney Purvis. The soft-spoken and pregnancy-test-stealing 21-year-old is one of only two girls from the show’s first season that wasn’t chosen to take part in Teen Mom, so viewers naturally want to know what’s become of her since her MTV days.

Part Two!

While there’s been no mention of MTV putting out a fifth season of 16 and Pregnant (from what inside sources have told The Ashley the show is done!) it appears that fans will be getting an update on some of their favorite girls from the show!

MTV has apparently contacted some of the ’16 and Pregnant’ girls to see if they would like to participate in another “Where Are They Now?” special. (The girls are not contractually obligated to participate, just FYI!)

One of the three girls from 16 & Pregnant that are currently pregnant with their second child is about to give birth! (Click here to read about all of the other girls that are “with second child.”)

The Ashley has exclusively learned that Season 1 star Ebony Jackson-Rendon is currently at a New Mexico hospital were she’s been induced and is getting ready to give birth to her second child, another girl. (The Ashley hasn’t been able to sleuth out what they’re naming the baby yet.)

Earlier this month, Ebony had to head to the hospital because she was having contractions, but it ended up being a false alarm.

You might not remember who Weston Gosa is but chances are you’ll always remember this classic mugshot.

Weston was on the first season of 16 & Pregnant, and is the baby-daddy of Whitney Purvis. Whitney was one of only two girls not chosen to be on the original Teen Mom series, and has had to watch her former ’16 & Pregnant’ co-stars go on to become rich and famous while she has struggled. (She was arrested at Wal-Mart a few months back for stealing–and using–a pregnancy test in the bathroom. I swear I’m not making this up. You can read all about it here.)

According to TMZ, Weston was celebrating the 4th of July holiday yesterday by taking a bunch of prescription drugs! (As you do.) According to the police report, Weston was in possession (and likely under the influence of) Xanax and Lorcet when he crashed his car and was arrested for DUI.

UPDATED 12/9/12: The stats now include the girls featured on Season 4 of the show.

She decided to take on this project because she thinks it will be helpful to fans of the show and, well, because she has no life.
