Their faces may be plastered all over every tabloid at the supermarket checkout counter, but not all of the stars of the Teen Mom franchise want to be considered “celebrities.”

While some of the girls from the show are desperately trying to extend their fame and turn themselves into Hollywood celebrities (cough, Farrah, cough) one of the original girls, Catelynn Lowell, says she has no interest in being a starlet.

“I always say I don’t use the f-word which is famous and I don’t use the c-word which is celebrity because I really don’t consider us that,” she told Penn State University’s HerCampus.com a few months ago. “I get people all the time that are like ‘Oh my gosh you are just like you are on TV.’ And I’m like ‘Yeah, I’m not faking it.’”

Catelynn has, for the most part, kept herself out of the limelight (except for this little TMZ appearance a few weeks ago, of course), and has focused on being an adoption advocate. She and fiance Tyler Baltierra are about to embark on a speaking tour in which they will go to universities and speak about their adoption experience. The Teen Mom fan world went into a tail spin this morning after In Touch magazine released its new issue, with claim of the “exclusive” story that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were once again expecting a child, according to a longtime “friend” of Catelynn’s.

Well kids, don’t believe everything you read (especially if it comes out of In Touch, which The Ashley has found to be notorious for stretching—or just abandoning—the truth.) This story is completely false, according to Catelynn herself.

“I’m freeeeeeeee!”

Looks like Butch Baltierra was able to squirm his way out of trouble again!

The domestic charges filed back in September by April Baltierra against Butch, the mulleted father of Tyler Baltierra from Teen Mom, were dropped this morning, according to this article from The Times Herald of Michigan.

For those of you who don’t follow Butch News as pathetically as The Ashley does, she is happy to fill you in. Back in September, Butch’s wife, April, had Butch arrested after he allegedly came home “High! High” as a kite and beat her up. (You can read about that here.)

It’s Father’s Day! Although I would say in reality show land there are many more crappy fathers than good ones…(not going to name names here but  <cough> John Gosselin, <cough>)…pretty much at least half of the guys ever to appear on 16 & Pregnant…the list can really go on and on.

However, The Ashley would like to pay tribute to the good dads on reality TV shows. They do exist, as you’ll read below. To all the dads that actually spend time with their kids (and just writing out your court-mandated child support check doesn’t count!), and all the dads that actually enjoy being a dad….happy Father’s Day!

On with the list:

8 ) James Durbin (American Idol):

James went on the show partially to be able to pay for diapers and other necessities for his son, Hunter. James won our hearts during this year’s ‘Idol’ by constantly proclaiming his love for his son and fiance. Women of America melted when James sang a song dedicated to his family and got visibly choked up just by talking about his love for his son.

Oh, Teen Mom. How I’ve missed thee….just one more month to go before you come back to me! (Season 3 premieres on July 5, just FYI.)

Although The Ashley has missed Gary & AMBO, Maci and the whole gang, the castmembers she is most excited to see are Butch, the Mullet King and April, Queen of the Virginia Slims. (You know they’re secretly your favorite too!) Unfortunately, it seems that we won’t be seeing much of Butchy in the upcoming season. (And almost certainly not in Season 4, which is filming right now!)

Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are arguably the cutest couple on Earth (or at least in reality TV land). Despite the fact that both are products of less-than-stellar homes and less-than-stellar parents (Tyler’s dad is currently in jail), they’ve managed to overcome so many obstacles and become very good people and productive members of society.

Tyler and Catelynn took a trip to Tennessee last week to help girls who had made the decision to put their babies up for adoption! How wonderful is that? He recently tweeted about the experience:

Helped 4 teenage girls choose adoption. That’s 4 families, 4 babies, and 4 girls that get a new chance.

This is not the first time Catelynn has helped girls in need. She has actually gone to the hospital to help girls who have just given birth and are giving their babies up for adoption! Girls who have no support from their families or baby-daddys have contacted her via social networking (or perhaps their website?)  and asked for help, and she’s gone to the hospital to help them through it. She talked a little bit about this during her recent appearance on Dr. Drew‘s HLN show, but didn’t go into great detail about it.

The Ashley seriously wants to give this girl a hug and thank her for turning her own incredibly hard situation into something positive.

Speaking of Dr. Drew’s HLN show, it looks like the Teen Dads will get their chance to appear very shortly. The good Doctor is not stupid; the “Teen Mom” episode probably brought high ratings, so Dr. Drew has decided to ask some of the male stars of the “Teen Mom” series to come on and talk about their new found fame. Gary Shirley announced on Twitter that the show will be taping in two weeks (he has since taken the tweeet down, damn MTV).

Some of the Teen Dads rumored to be attending the taping: Tyler, Gary and Chelsea‘s hated beau, Adam.
