A year after they met, fell in love and got engaged in Mexico during the taping of Bachelor in Paradise Season 1, Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul have tied the knot!
The couple appears to have gotten married on Thursday, which Marcus said on Instagram was their one-year anniversary. Naturally, the whole affair included other members of the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 1 cast and a film crew!
“The couple taped their nuptials for the upcoming season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise,'” Us Weekly reported.
Earlier this year, Lacy told Us which ‘Paradisers’ she planned to make her bridesmaids.
“Clare Crawley, Michelle Money, there are several ‘Bachelor’ people who will definitely make the list as well as our bridal party,” she told the magazine.
On Thursday, Marcus posted a photo that showed Lacy getting ready for something, but he did not confirm that it was their wedding. He later deleted the photo from his Instagram.
Marcus first appeared on Andi Dorfman‘s season of The Bachelorette, and was heartbroken when she dumped him. Lacy was cut the first night of Juan Pablo Galavis‘ season of The Bachelor.
Although it’s only been on one season, ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ now has almost the same success rate for its couples as ‘The Bachelor,’ which has been on 19 seasons. To date, only two ‘Bachelors’ have married a woman from their season– Sean Lowe and Jason Mesnick.
The second season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ premieres on Sunday, August 2 on ABC!
