Sam Role‘s stint on Married At First Sight did not work out, but the Season 3 alum seems to have found a happy ending anyway.
She announced on Tuesday that she and her fiance Chris Wise are expecting their first child.
“[It’s] the most amazing dream come true,” Sam told People.
Sam is best remembered for being a part of one of the show’s most shocking endings. After marrying Neil Bowlus “at first sight,” Sam was unhappy in her marriage. Toward the end of the six-week experiment, Sam had begun to warm to Neil, but the damage had been done. Neil decided he wanted a divorce, causing Sam to have a meltdown.
Despite their divorce, Sam and Neil have remained good friends. He congratulated his ex-wife when she got engaged to Chris in January, and wished her the best after she announced her pregnancy. (He even had a name suggestion if the baby turns out to be a boy!)
“Congratulations @Sam_MAFS Super excited for you and the family!!” Neil tweeted. “You will be a great momma. If it’s a boy I am formally submitting the name Corneilius (Neil for short) for consideration.”
Sam told People that she’s four months into her pregnancy, and that she and Chris have not yet found out the gender of the baby.
Only three couples from ‘Married At First Sight’ are still married (not counting the couples on the current season), but several former stars of the show have gone on to have babies. Season 1’s Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are the parents of seven-month-old daughter Henley, while Season 1’s Vaughn Copeland welcomed son Zaire in 2016 (following his divorce from Monet Bell, whom he married on ‘MAFS.’)
Last month, Season 4’s Nick Pendergrast welcomed twins with his girlfriend Heather Yerrid.
‘Married At First Sight’ Season 6 is currently airing on Lifetime.

Wait… her name is going to be Sam Wise?
She was such a jerk.
Why because she wasn’t attracted to someone?
