It’s (another) boy for Chip and Joanna Gaines!
The Fixer Upper stars welcomed their fifth child on Saturday, and Chip excitedly posted the news on Twitter.
“And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger!” he wrote. “10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great! #blessedBeyondBelief.”
(I’m sure Joanna was thrilled that he called her “big momma!”)
The couple announced back in January that the Gaines crew would be growing by one more, when they learned Joanna was pregnant. Chip and Joanna are already parents to 13-year-old Drake, 11-year-old Ella, nine-year-old Duke and eight-year-old Emmie.
Joanna took to Twitter to officially announce that she and Chip have named their new son Crew.
“Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here & we couldn’t be more in love,” she wrote. “He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early – which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful.”

When they announced the pregnancy, Chip provided TMI explanation as to how the unexpected pregnancy, um, started…
He tweeted that the couple went to a Johnny Swim’s concert on October 12, 2017 and, “they put on a little too romantic of a concert…anyways, one thing led to another, and we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED!”
The couple’s show, ‘Fixer Upper’ ended its run earlier this year. They are still staying busy running their home decor line, restaurant and other ventures, though.
“Right now what we’re focusing on is just family, our businesses here in town and obviously me being a mom to a newborn,” Joanna told TODAY in May.
Joanna posted a photo to Twitter of her other kids waiting outside Joanna’s hospital room.
“One of my favorite pics a friend showed me after Crew was born,” she tweeted. “They couldn’t wait to meet their new baby brother.”
