Chris Harrison has helped lead many a Bachelor and Bachelorette to love and marriage, but this weekend the former host of the Bachelor Franchise was the one popping the big question!
Chris announced on Instagram on Monday that he proposed to his girlfriend, Entertainment Tonight correspondent Lauren Zima over the weekend in Napa Valley, California. Chris posted a photo of him on bended knee presenting a ring to Lauren.
“I love you @laurenzima The next chapter starts now!” Chris captioned a series of photos showing him proposing and Lauren saying yes. He has wiped his Instagram account clean of all previous pictures.
Lauren also announced the engagement on her Instagram, writing, “We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this. You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest.”
According to Page Six, Chris proposed with a ring from McClave Jewelers.
Chris and Lauren received plenty of well wishes from former ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ stars.
“Congratulations! So happy for you both,” wrote Colton Underwood.
“Oh my goodnessssssssssss congratulations you two. This is perfect,” Kaitlyn Bristowe commented.
“As you know, I love love…and love you two! Congratulations!!!! Xo,” Trista Sutter wrote.
Chris and Lauren have been dating since 2018. This will be the first marriage for Lauren and the second for Chris, who was married to his first wife, Gwen, for 18 years before they divorced in 2012. (Chris and Gwen share two children together.)
Chris— who announced his departure from the ‘Bachelor’ Franchise in June— was the longtime host of ‘The Bachelor,’ ‘The Bachelorette,’ Bachelor in Paradise and other ‘Bachelor’ spin-offs. Chris stepped back from his hosting duties in February after coming to the defense of ‘Bachelor’ contestant Rachael Kirkconnell when pictures surfaced of her attending a Southern plantation-themed party. Chris defended Rachael during a now-infamous interview with former ‘Bachelorette” Rachel Lindsay.
He officially left the show in June (and got a nice chunk of cash as a pay-out). ABC announced in September that former ‘Bachelor’ Jesse Palmer would be taking over for Chris as host of the upcoming ‘Bachelor’ season.
Chris and Lauren have not revealed when they plan to get married.

He’s loaded, so if she works the pre nup game right, she could be set.
Ppl need to let off the Rachel thing. If Matt James is willing to pretend they’re still dating, then it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone else.
