Tom Sandoval threw some shade at BFF/business partner Tom Schwartz this week, just days after denying that their friendship was on the rocks.
While playing a show in Fresno, California, on Friday with his cover band Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, Page Six reports the Vanderpump Rules star took an opportunity to make a dig at Schwartz by changing the lyrics to the Fountains of Wayne song “Stacy’s Mom.”
Sandoval used the song to make fun of the fact that Sandoval is no longer a homeowner.
“Schwartzy, do you remember when you had a lawn? / A homeowner lawn / Your mom came out wearing just a TomTom hoodie and a thong,” Sandoval sang– (off-key, natch).
In his version of the song, Sandoval was referring to the Valley Village home Schwartz used to share with ex-wife Katie Maloney. The former husband and wife sold their home last summer not long after announcing their divorce, and now live separately in their own apartments.
Ironically, Sandoval may very well be a former homeowner himself soon.
Sandoval and ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix are still cohabitating in their Valley Village home, though their living situation is presumably temporary. Ariana was recently ambushed at the airport by TMZ and asked about her their home. She told the paparazzi reporter that she’d “love to sell” the house.
As The Ashley previously told you, the couple ended their nine-year relationship in March after Ariana found out about Sandoval’s months-long affair with cast member Raquel Leviss.
Sandoval’s on-stage shade comes just weeks after Schwartz revealed on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s When Reality Hits podcast that he was “taking a break from Tom right now” because he feel betrayed by his BFF for letting him take part of the blame for the Scandoval fallout.
“He made a big mess and he left it for us to clean up,” Schwartz said. “It’s hard for me not to be resentful of him. … I’m taking a break from Tom right now.”
Though Sandoval went on to claim that Schwartz had actually been misquoted and he and his bestie were good as gold, his latest “Stacy’s Mom” remix suggests otherwise.
If the Toms are in fact on a break, their friendship won’t be the first to crumble in the wake of Scandoval, as the affair also marked the end of Sandoval’s friendship with James Kennedy, who was previously engaged to Raquel. However, after his recent real estate purchase, at least James won’t have to worry about being dragged by Sandoval via song over his apartment-living situation.
According to The Sun, James became a homeowner in March after purchasing a $1.3 million three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Los Angeles. (The new house comes complete with a homeowner lawn, so Sandoval won’t be able to tease James via song lyric about it.)
James recently told fans during an Instagram AMA that the backyard of his new home is “almost ready for summer,” and plans for a backyard BBQ would be underway “very soon.” The DJ told BravoTV.com that his new space features a garden as well as a pool, where he and girlfriend Ally Lewber plan to spend a lot of time hanging out this summer.

If he was smart he’d.ake it a permanent break!
I checked out his bands IG page and Omg they are just a sh!tty cover band. They don’t play any original songs. None.
SandHovel is really leaning into the “Villain” character now that there is no other choice. He is a POS, and since he can’t spin it any other way, he is just throwing all his energy into it and hoping it makes him “cool” while he plays with the band he has to pay to be his friends.
So sad.
