Cameras have already begun rolling on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, but one castmember’s return remains up in the air.
Despite reports circulating earlier this week that Raquel Leviss had signed on the dotted line and would begin filming with the rest of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ cast next week, TMZ reports that Raquel has yet to sign on for the upcoming season, as her people are still in negotiations with Bravo.
According to Page Six, Raquel is playing “hardball” with the network regarding the salary terms of her contract.
“She wants to get as much money as she possibly can so she is playing hardball,” a source told the outlet.
With the rest of the Season 11 cast set to go on a group trip to Lake Tahoe next week, the source said it was expected that Raquel’s contract would be squared away so that she would able to film; however, negotiations are still underway.
“But for the right price, she will be there,” the source claimed.
Fans and cast members alike have been speculating the possibility of Raquel’s ‘Vanderpump Rules’ return for months, as the former pageant contestant has reportedly been struggling with her mental health since the news of her months-long affair with co-star Tom Sandoval broke in March. Raquel allegedly checked into a mental health facility in Arizona in mid-April amid the fallout from Scandoval.
One person who believes Raquel should “absolutely not” return to the reality series is fired former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Jax Taylor.
“There’s nothing healthy about reality TV for anybody,” Jax recently told Us Weekly. “You need to have a thick skin. In my opinion, I think [Raquel] dove into something that was a little bit bigger than her.
“I don’t think she’s mentally tough enough to be in something like this,” he added.
Still, Jax said he has no sympathy for anyone on ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ as they knew what they were getting into when they joined the show.
“We all stepped in this,” he said. “We all know what we’re doing. We all signed on the dotted line. I don’t feel bad for anybody. This is what you signed up for. Now you gotta own it.”
While Raquel’s return is still up in the air, the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ cast may be a bit too distracted to notice, as it was revealed Wednesday that the Bravo reality series had received its first-ever Emmy nominations.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reality series has been nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program–- alongside Deadliest Catch, Life Below Zero, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked and Welcome to Wrexham–- as well as Outstanding Picture Editing For An Unstructured Reality Program.

I would be happy never seeing her again honestly.
@gemma ~ #same
maybe rachel will ‘play hardball’ until she has 3️⃣ strikes and is OUT.
scandoval is literally the only remotely interesting thing about her. prior to that, she was basically wallpaper. ?⬜??♀️
