Stassi Schroeder will not be returning to Bravo for its dumpster fire of a new show, The Valley, and according to the fired Vanderpump Rules star, that’s due to her own choice.
While appearing on Jeff Lewis‘ Sirius XM radio show earlier this week, Stassi revealed that she turned down Bravo‘s invitation to appear on the show alongside her former ‘VP’ co-stars Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute.
“It’s not Bravo’s fault,” Stassi told Jeff, who said he was upset at the network for seemingly snubbing Stassi for the show.
She went on to state that she was asked to film for the show’s “sizzle reel” (aka preview footage showing what ‘The Valley’ will be about.)
“Once this idea [for the show] was brought up, [the producers] were like, ‘OK, we’re going to film a sizzle with all the people that would be on it. Will you be on it and film the sizzle?’ and every fiber of my being voted no. Truly.”
“Is it because you don’t want to work with the same people again?” Jeff asked her.
As fans know, Stassi was fired in June 2020 from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ (along with Kristen) for their racist actions against former cast member Faith Stowers. (Jax and Brittany left the show in December 2020 after allegedly being booted; however, the couple has insisted they left on their own.)
Stassi said she had “a lot of different reasons” for turning the opportunity down, stating that she and her husband Beau Clark don’t really hang out with any of the other stars of ‘The Valley’ these days.
“It wouldn’t be a reflection of what my reality is,” she said. “Because I’m not friends with any— it’s not my group of friends.”
She clarified that she’s “friendly with some of them” and “acquaintances” with others on the cast.
“Some of the new [cast members], too, I think are lovely but it’s not my crew,” Stassi said.
(In addition to Jax and Brittany, and Kristen and her boyfriend Luke Broderick, ‘The Valley’ will also star Danny and Nia Booko; Jesse and Michelle Lally; and Jason and Janet Caperna.)
When Jeff brought up the fact that Stassi would probably become closer with the cast of ‘The Valley’ if they were all filming a show together, Stassi made it clear she has no interest in buddying up to Jax & Co.
“I don’t want to,” she said. “I don’t want to go and have to do things that I normally wouldn’t do. I don’t want to disrupt the life that I have right now because I really like my life right now.”
Stassi clarified that she is still friends with “a few” of the current ‘Vanderpump Rules’ cast members, including Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay, but that she only talks to them on occasion.
“My life is not the way that it used to be,” Stassi said. “I’m not in this group. I don’t have time to just be in this group of friends that goes out all the time and gets to do whatever they want. [‘The Valley’ is] not [going to be a different vibe], because I know what [that cast does] on a regular basis and that’s not what I do.”
No exact premiere date has been set for ‘The Valley’ as of press time, but the show is expected to debut this spring.

Kristen did all that for stassi and they aren’t even friends anymore. Lol. Don’t go along with racism or pettiness.
