Things will be heating up– and in some cases, getting a little weird– next month when a new season of 90 Day Fiance: Love in Paradise premieres on TLC. 

As in past seasons of the 90 Day Fiance spinoff, Season 4 of ‘Love in Paradise’ will follow a crop of couples, all of whom are in relationships at various phases.

This season’s geographically-challenged lovers include a pair brought together by sperm donation, a secretly financially-strapped fellow, a couple adjusting to a new dynamic and another trying to convince their partner that there’s more to life than threesomes. 

Meet the Season 4 couples below!  

Kyle (Los Angeles, California) & Anika (Malta) 

Kyle is a 32-year-old accountant with a unique hobby of donating sperm. According to TLC, Kyle’s “hobby” has not only resulted in him having 71 children (and nine on the way) with women across the world, but also led him to meet 39-year-old Anika, a single mom wanting to have another child. 

After discovering Kyle’s donor information online, Anika booked a consultation call with him and the two immediately hit it off and eventually started dating. This season, viewers will watch as Kyle travels to Malta to meet Anika in person for the first time. While there, Kyle will have to answer the age old question: “Are my feelings for my partner greater than my desire to continue donating sperm?” 

“I love Ani, but I love sperm donation,” Kyle says in the trailer. “If she can’t accept that, this relationship won’t survive.” 

Shawn (New York City) & Alliya (Brazil) 

Shawn is a 61-year-old celebrity hairstylist who met his partner, 25-year-old Alliya, online. Alliya was assigned male at birth, but began embracing her femininity after she and Shawn started dating. 

“Alliya is dynamic and sexy and all the fantasy things, but when I first met Alliya, she was ‘Douglas,’” Shawn says in the trailer. 

This season, Shawn and Alliya will continue learning more about themselves and each other, while also determining if their attraction and feelings for one another will grow stronger.  

Luke (Los Angeles) & Madelein (Colombia)

Luke and Madelein met while Luke was vacationing in Colombia and the two ended up spending the entire holiday together. After 30-year-old Luke returned home to LA, he decided he wanted to relocate to Colombia to be with 19-year-old Madelein to continue their relationship. 

Unfortunately for Luke (as well as Madelein’s lavish lifestyle), Luke doesn’t have the wealth he once did and can no longer afford to move, nor can he provide for Madelein in the way she believes that he can. 

Alex (Dallas, Texas) & Adriano (Italy) 

Alex is a “family-oriented” 30-year-old who connected with “free-spirited” 33-year-old Adriano when their two crossed paths while traveling. Despite Alex and Adriano recognizing that they were looking for different things in a relationship, they had undeniable chemistry. This season, Alex and Adriano will find out if a strong connection is enough to make up for their extreme differences-– including their preferences in the bedroom.  

“We’ve had our issues,” Alex tells her friends in the trailer. “He wants us having a night with different women.”

When Alex later confronts Adriano about what is important to him, her or threesomes, Adriano tells her, “both.” 

The new season of ‘Love in Paradise’ premieres Monday, April 22 on TLC.
