Lala Kent’s Amazon Live took a turn on Tuesday when a fan’s question about Vanderpump Rules caused her to break down in tears.
After being asked when the Season 11 finale was set to air, Lala admitted that she hasn’t been watching the current season, adding that the Season 11 reunion–- which was filmed last month–- “really shook” her up.
As viewers know, despite Season 11 filming just months after the cast learned about Scandoval–- the affair between Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss that went on for months behind everyone’s backs, including Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix-– some of the cast has seemingly forgiven Sandoval and in some cases, even begun turning on Ariana.
Both Lala and Scheana Shay have been accused by fans of not remaining loyal to Ariana this season, with the former also being criticized for her treatment towards Katie Maloney.
During her Amazon Live event Tuesday, Lala admitted that she “was kind of getting into a darker place this season,” before telling fans that she’s aware of the backlash she’s receiving on social media.
“I’ve stayed off the Internet … [but] like, I know what people are saying and the backlash that I’m getting,” she said. “And unfortunately, it’s hard because I don’t regret any of this season, but I think it’s best that I stay kind of away from it … .”
Lala, who is currently pregnant with her second child– a daughter, due in September– began to get emotional as she told fans that she’s actively avoiding all things Bravo/‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 11 at the moment, and wants to instead focus on enjoying her pregnancy.
“This is my real life,” she said. “I know the show is, too, but I just want to stay in my real life of like, creating my family. So I’ve just been staying away from all of that stuff, because I live a really amazing, amazing life and I feel really happy about all of the changes that I’ve made in my world to get to where I am.”
Lala added that she is “really proud” of the success she’s gained on her own through “many, many years of hard work” and wants to “relish in that” instead of allowing people to get her down.
“ … I don’t want strangers to make me feel silly or stupid,” she said. “And I love Bravo and NBC [Universal] and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ and I love all of you guys, but this is a really important time in my life and I will be damned if anyone tarnishes or gives me memories of it not being a beautiful time in my life.”
Lala noted that, although she’s happy people are so invested in ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ there are certain things she doesn’t want to “see” or “know about.”

Lala is so full of herself it’not even entertaining anymore to watch . Sober or not she is just a vile person who thinks she has the right to call people out but can’t take the heat when it comes back at her.
She’s a vile cruel person and zero sympathy here
Awww! You reap what you sow. Boo hiss bitch.
She’s vile. End of story. And I only watched the last couple episodes of last season and the reunion to see it.
I don’t feel bad for her. She is the very definition of a hypocrite. Scheana is Lala’s little yippy lap dog excited that she finally gets to feast at Lala’s table. Ariana is better off without either of them honestly.
Classic bravo mean girl. Can dish it but can’t take it. Come on Lauren, show us what you learned on the mean streets of Utah!
When is this trashy whor* going to go away for good.
