“I keep looking down at my finger and just squealing inside,” she continued. “I’m one of those hopeless romantics who would watch rom coms as a little girl and dream of how I might get proposed to one day. Where would it happen, how would it feel…. And last week all of those daydreams came true in the most perfect moment where I got my very own proposal.”

The chief stew gushed about her relationship with Scott, which began about four years ago.

“During my 20’s I thought meeting my one might not happen for me, I was too busy flitting around the world doing my own thing,” Aesha wrote. “But I did find him, and in all the dreams of a happy ending I never thought I’d get someone quite as good as Scott.”

According to Us Weekly, the romantic proposal took place in New Zealand, where Aesha and Scott are based.

“Homunga Bay was my dream place to get engaged, but I had no idea it was coming and was totally surprised,” Aesha told the magazine.

Aesha’s engagement ring was custom-made, with a round-cut stone surrounded by smaller diamonds that symbolize Aesha’s family members, with one champagne-colored stone representing her late brother.

“Scott was so thoughtful and cared deeply about creating a piece that truly symbolized Aesha and his love for her,” jewelry designer Layla Kaisi stated.

Aesha’s ‘Below Deck’ family expressed their happiness for her in the comment section of her Instagram post.

“Soooo incredibly happy for you both — sending all of my love,” Fraser Olender wrote.

“I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH! You both deserve so much! Congratulations baby girl,” Katie Floody replied.

Malia White shared, “CONGRATS you two!!! Beautiful!”

Aesha and Scotty met in high school and reconnected in 2020— one year after Aesha joined the cast of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean.’

In 2023, Aesha told Bravo that she and Scott had discussed marriage plans.

“There’s definitely a future there,” she stated, adding that she hoped to be surprised when Scott proposed.

“I’ve given him very strict instructions that I do not want any hint of when an engagement would be or what it’s gonna be like, ’cause I love surprises,” she said. “I think he definitely feels a bit of pressure because I’m really good at figuring out surprises by accident, not because I want to. I don’t wanna ruin it for myself!”

Scott successfully surprised Aesha with the help of Aesha’s friend Louise Bartlett. Aesha thanked her pal in her Instagram post.

“[Thank] you to @louloulablue for being the best friend ever and helping Scott to trick me perfectly into being totally oblivious to the real reason we were down there!!! And getting the video which we can share soon!” she wrote.

On Thursday, Aesha thanked the show’s fans for being so supportive.

“Thank you so much for the overwhelming response of congrats!” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “I can’t believe how lucky we are to have so many genuinely lovely humans cheering us on. This is dream cheer squad. Thank you! Thank you!”

Aesha will next appear on ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 9, which premieres on Bravo next month.
