The courtroom showdown between battling exes Jenelle Evans and David Eason got downright nasty on Thursday!
As The Ashley previously told you, Jenelle was granted a six-month protective order by a North Carolina judge, barring her estranged ex from coming near her or her home on The Land. David is also forbidden from contacting her, or talking about Jenelle on social media. However, The Ashley can reveal that a lot of tea was spilled during the two-and-a-half-hour court hearing!
According to The Ashley’s source, Jenelle and David both had to take the stand. Because David had no lawyer and was representing himself, he was able to ask Jenelle questions while she was on the stand.
“David accused her of being a drug addict, and said that Jenelle has taken Xanax the whole time they’ve been together,” the source said. “Jenelle rebutted the claim that she’s a drug addict, and said she was prescribed Xanax and has been taking it for the last three years to help with her esophagus spasms. She told the judge that if she gets nervous or anxious, it will flare up her esophagus spasms and she will throw up.”
“David then asked Jenelle something like, ‘So, you’re denying that you’ve been taking Xanax since we’ve been together?’ And Jenelle said yes, only for the last three years or so.”
Another point of contention was Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans.
“At one point when David was on the stand, Jenelle’s lawyer brought up some of the things David has texted Jenelle since the separation, which he felt was harassment,” The Ashley’s source said. “Jenelle stated that David had texted her ‘Even your mom hates you’ or something like that.’
According to The Ashley’s source, David, who was on the stand at the time, shot back with something among the lines of, ‘Doesn’t your mom say that she doesn’t like you?’
“Jenelle immediately burst into tears,” the source stated. “She said it was wrong for him to bring up the problems she’s having with her mom.”

Never did I ever think I would be backing Jenelle. This is coming from someone who she blocked on insta for comments I made about how she handled the situation when David hurt Jace.
Just came here to say that I would also need Xanax if I were married to David. And he should talk because we all know he is a substance abuser who contributes zero percent financially and is a deplorable parent.
Jenelle absolutely sucks, but she sucks infinitely less without David.
Crazy how these 2 separated and all we see is court court court. But slim pickings when she goes to court in regards to her kids.
I wish Janelle would stay off tv and social media. Poor Jace is going to get draggec back into the spotlight again. That kid needs peace and stability right now. Sadley mtv will use her story and exploit Jace. I feel awful for him and fear he will continue down an unsafe path in his life due to his dumb so called mom.

My question is who is watching the kids when she’s traveling across the country, at concerts, out with Tori..? I’d assume Jace. My guess is she got Jace back and realized he’s old enough to take care of Kaiser and Ensley so she didn’t need David anymore.
