Former “19 Kids & Counting” Star Josh Duggar’s Appeal in CSAM Case Gets Rejected by Supreme Court

“It’s just not fair!” – Josh, Josh’s wife, parents and a few misguided Duggar siblings. (Probably.)

The United States Supreme Court declined on Monday to hear disgraced former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar appeal his criminal conviction, CNN reports.

As you may remember, Josh was sentenced to 151 months in Federal Prison after being convicted in December 2021 of receiving child sex abuse materials (CSAM).

It was revealed in December that Josh planned to petition the Supreme Court to review his criminal conviction after having appealed at every level of court to no avail. According to court documents obtained by The Ashley at the time, Josh and his lawyer, Justin Gelfand, claimed that Josh was not given a fair trial back in 2021, arguing that their alternative theories and evidence were not taken into consideration.

(Josh and his legal team maintain that Josh’s former employee, Caleb Williams, had access to the incriminating computers found on Josh’s now-shuttered used car lot.)

The car lot where the crimes took place…

Had his petition been granted by the Supreme Court, Josh would’ve had the opportunity to, once again, fight for a mistrial.

Josh’s lawyers first filed an appeal in June 2022, shortly after Josh received his sentence, during which they argued that their client did not receive a fair trial and alleged that Josh’s rights were violated during the raid on his used car lot in 2019.

Josh’s lawyers also claimed that Josh was denied the ability to fully defend himself by presenting a case against Caleb during the 2021 trial and that Josh has been unlawfully “restrained” and unable to contact his lawyer during the raid, among other things. The appeal request was denied in August; Josh’s legal team went on to (unsuccessfully) appeal the rejection later that month.

The Supreme Court shut down Josh’s latest attempt to overturn his prison sentence on Monday by declining to hear his appeal without comment.

“Do you think we can get Jana to whip up a tater-tot casserole with a nail file hidden inside?”

Josh remains in a Texas prison, where he is not scheduled to be released until October 2032.

Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and wife, Anna Duggar, have yet to comment on Monday’s decision by the Supreme Court.

  1. IN YOUR FACE, BASTARD! This guy should have been given a much longer sentence than what he received. His eldest daughter will be old enough by then to know better. I hope she and her younger siblings will by then denounce their father and Anna (and her delusional family) will stay alone. I really have such high hopes for McKenzie, she seems like a smart kid (it’s just a question of how much has she already been brainwashed unfortunately)

  2. He should never be released. My heart breaks for the children he will victimize after his 2032 release. I thought they took care of people like him in prison 😡

    1. There’s still plenty of time. I had an uncle who was in federal prison for a robbery. He confirmed that life doesn’t go well for these disgusting types.

    2. Unfortunately Pedojosh is in a federal prison with a wing dedicated to all filthy cockroaches like him. To avoid having to deal with regular assaults or murders from other inmates, the administration lumps all human waste together. It’s a shame, because I would have liked him to undergo what he so loved to watch.

    1. But he’s so special, so clearly wrongly convicted! He didn’t do any of this stuff! How could the Supreme Court refuse?! – Anna, probably

  3. He is a repeat offender. There is no place in our society for pedophile’s. Obviously they reoffend. He should have gotten life and the sexual abuse he inflicted on his sisters and two other girls should have warranted a stricter sentence. And his dumb dutiful wife will be there with their 7 children the day he is released from prison to pick him up. I do not doubt that he abused them as well. Obviously Anna won’t protect them because she puts her husband above her children. They both disgust me.

    1. I’d like to think whoever down voted this just accidentally hit the wrong button. If they didn’t and are defending him. They failed as a human.

Look at his smug face in his mugshot 😡
      I’d like to punch him

      1. Anna, Michelle, who’s hidding here? You both failed to protect your kids from a disgusting pedo. You lied to the police. You deserve the hell you promise to gay people!
