‘Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets’ Set to Premiere Next Month on MTV; See the Full Cast & Get Details On the Show’s Reboot

A star-studded cast of celebrities will be gearing up for a getaway full of surprises when Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets premieres next month on MTV.  

As The Ashley previously told you, The Surreal Life made its return to TV in 2022 after a 15-year hiatus. The series originally launched in 2003 on The WB, where it aired for two seasons before moving to VH1 for Seasons 3-6 before eventually wrapping in 2006. 

The upcoming season (Season 8)– ‘Villas of Secrets’– will be the first to air on MTV, as Season 7 aired on VH1.

According to the network, Season 8 will see eight “celebrity strangers” checking into the ‘Villas of Secrets’ for an “outlandish, Surreal getaway.” 

“Each day these all-star guests will be surprised with provocative missions that push their limits, uncover their pasts and lead them to divulge their deepest truths,” the Season 8 synopsis reads. “Eight celebs, one villa… ALL will be revealed.” 

While viewers wait to find out what exactly will be revealed in the upcoming season, check out the list of celebrities who will be checking into the ‘Villa of Secrets’ below.

Macy Gray: Award-Winning Singer and Actor 

Johnny Weir: Olympic Figure Skater and TV Commentator 

Tyler Posey: Actor (best known for his role on MTV’s Teen Wolf) and Musician

Kim Zolciak: Reality Star, who previously appeared on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta before going on to star in her own spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy 

O.T. Genasis: Musician and Rapper

Josie Canseco: Model; daughter of former MLB star Jose Canseco and former star of the weird 2016 reality show The Mother/Daughter Experiment 

Ally Brooke: Award-Winning Singer, who was a member of Fifth Harmony before beginning her career as a solo artist

Chet Hanks: Actor and Musician; son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

‘Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets’ premieres Tuesday, July 23 on MTV.

    For some reason I have a memory of him wearing Red high heels.
