‘The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras’ Will Feature 40 Veterans From the Last 26 Years of the MTV Franchise; Check Out the Full Cast

Season 40 of The Challenge premieres this summer, bringing together 40 veteran players from the last 26 years of the MTV franchise, each representing a different “era.” 

The upcoming season will also feature the most champions to ever appear on one season. 

According to Variety, The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras will kick off with a cast competition at the “Era Invitational,” during which the weakest links from each of the four Challenge Eras will be eliminated and the top performers will earn a spot on their team and move on in the competition. 

“With relentless, new challenges and twists, these seasoned veterans are perpetually kept on their toes in the game they thought they had mastered,” the Season 40 press release reads. “Legends will collide as they endeavor to etch their names into eternal ‘Challenge’ stone and earn their share of $1 million.” 

With a combined 44 ‘Challenge’ wins among the 40 competitors, ‘Battle of the Eras’ is sure to be a season to remember.

    however, i vaguely recall reading a while back that he wasn’t going to do challenges after his child was born. so he very well may have gotten the call and declined. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  3. CT for the win. They ruined it with Cara Maria and Paulie. I agree, love me some Wes, not only is he a beast, he is funny as hell.


    1. I was just saying the same thing to my friends! Era 2 men’s side is seriously lacking. They needed Wes badly cause the women’s side is stacked.
