Shekinah Garner recently went to bat for her man, Sarper Güven, defending her Turkish boyfriend against people who she says “slut-shame” him for admitting to sleeping with more than 2,500 women.
The 90 Day Fiance star— who appears with Sarper on the new season of ‘The Other Way’—scolded a TMZ reporter for looking down on her man for his previous promiscuity.
“I think it’s terrible— in this day and age— to be essentially slut-shaming people, which is what that is, when you’re judging someone based on their body count,” Shekinah said after she was asked how she was able to get over the fact that Sarper had banged thousands of women.
“That’s so demeaning and so wrong,” Shekinah continued. “He’s a grown man. He wasn’t doing anything wrong.”
That being said, Shekinah admitted Sarper banging the be-Jesus out of enough women to fill an average cruise ship wasn’t a great idea.
“Do I think that was a good choice, or showed a lot of integrity? No, but I love him and I trust him and I think that’s in his past,” Shekinah insisted.
Shekinah did confess, though, that she has a hard time trusting that Sarper will keep it in his pants when she’s not with him.
“It’s definitely hard when I’m not in Turkey with him and I do come back to L.A. a lot to see my daughter,” she said. “When I’m here, I do need constant reassurance. Like, I do check in with him all the time [and ask him], ‘What are you doing? Where are you?’
“I don’t want to feel that way, but at the same time I do need that reassurance until we can build the trust,” Shekinah added. “You can’t just trust somebody overnight. They have to earn that.”
Shekinah went on to praise her Turkish tail-chaser for being open about his sexual history.
“He’s very honest and forthcoming, and the fact that he decided to share that with everyone, props to him for doing that,” she said. “I don’t think it’s a good reason to make him feel bad for it. He’s an attractive man. He took advantage of the fact that he could sleep with almost anyone.”
When Shekinah and Sarper made their “90 Day Fiancé” franchise debut last year on ‘The Other Way’ Season 5, Sarper— a former exotic dancer– spoke about how he managed to get so many notches on his bedpost.
“I danced over 600 bachelorette parties. Half of the brides wanted to sleep with me,” he said. “If they were beautiful, yeah, I slept with them. It was a service, I mean. It was just for fun, for me. I never thought I would settle down.”
During an Instagram Q&A in December, Sarper explains that he is “OCD” about counting things, which is why he kept track of the number of women he’s taken to PoundTown.
“I was always a numbers guy,” he said, adding that keeping a “black book” containing a recording of all his sexual conquests once gave him a sense of pride.

“It was a trophy for me, but right now, do I feel anything when I look at it? Absolutely not. It’s not satisfaction or pride anymore because only one [woman] is written on my heart, and you know her, [Shekinah],” Sarper explained.
Shekinah then gave a plug for the new season of ‘The Other Way’ (which premieres Monday night), stating that viewers will see why she does not want to live in Turkey permanently.

She is really quite ignorant. A fool who boasts to sleeping with 2500 women and she sees nothing disgusting about that boast? She chooses a jerk like him over her daughter? Ignorant fool. And she does not trust him to work with women? Gee I wonder why. Grow up Shekinah and get rid of the duck lips.
I agree. We shouldn’t shame him for sleeping with that many women. What we should be shaming him for is being a deadbeat father that abandoned his child.
The jerk boasts to bedding 2500 women. He should be ashamed and has no shame. His child was fortunate not to be raised by him and if he really bedded that many women he has more than one kid out there. Disgusting so called man.
She is dumb AF. Yes, his (exaggerated) claim of sleeping with 2500 women may be in his past. But he doesn’t strike me as one that gets STD tests on the regular or even wears a condom. So his past could cause some very real problems for her present.
Another sign of her stupidity is how ridiculous she looks. Not quite as overdone as the pinched looking lizard from last season but close.
