‘Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant’ Star Madisen Beith Marries Longtime Boyfriend Christian Wilson

“We got hitched!”

Madisen Beith and Christian Wilson are officially married!

According to an announcement on Instagram made by Madisen this week, the former 16 and Pregnant (and Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant) stars have tied the knot.

In her post, Madisen revealed that she took Christian’s last name and is now legally “Madisen Wilson.” According to Starcasm, the couple wed Thursday, July 11 in Cleburne County, Arkansas.

Fans of ‘Young and Pregnant’ will remember Madisen joining the series in its third (and final) season, after previously appearing in the Season 6 premiere of “16 and Pregnant.” In her MTV debut, Madisen shared with viewers that she was raised by her father Nick, as her mother was “out of the picture.”

At the time, Madisen and Nick had been living with Nick’s best friend for a number of years after losing their home in a fire. During the episode, Madisen and her now-husband Christian welcomed daughter Camille.

Madisen’s marriage news was met with many congratulations from fans on Thursday, as well as some former stars of ‘Young and Pregnant.’

“I’m so proud of how far y’all have came,” Rachel Beaver commented. “I love you @madisen.paige you deserve the world & I’m so excited for this new chapter in your life.”

Rachel’s mom, Stephanie Polo, also sent her congratulations, as did Jaime Szot, mom of Madisen’s former co-star Kayla Sessler.

“I’m so happy for you all,” Stephanie wrote, with Jaime adding, “Congrats.”

Christian and Madisen have had a long road to get to the alter. During ‘Young & Pregnant’ Season 3, the couple broke up and Madisen and Camille moved from Arkansas to Ohio to be with her father. Shortly after Madisen– who was pregnant with her second child by Christian– suffered a miscarriage. The couple eventually got back together.

After ‘Young & Pregnant’ was cancelled in 2023, Madisen kept her and Christian’s relationship relatively off social media.

In December, it was announced on the @TeenMomFanz Instagram page that Madisen had proposed to Christian after being back together for about a year-and-a-half.

A post shared by MTV’s Teen Mom (@teenmomfanz)

In the comment section of the engagement announcement post, Madisen’s stepmom Christina, informed fans that Christian had come a long way from the lazy guy he was on the final season of ‘Young & Pregnant.’

“A LOT of time has passed since filming stopped. Christian isn’t lazy, at all!” she wrote. “He works hard to provide a nice life for his family. Camille is a lucky little girl to have her parents happily together. Madisen and Christian have come a long way. [Madisen’s dad] and I are very proud of them, y’all should be too.”

She also defended Madisen for being the one to propose.

“If a woman knows what she wants and decides to go for it, whether it’s a career, or a future husband or anything in between – good for her!!

  1. Excuse me but why did her stepmother have to defend her for being the one who proposed?! We are in 2024, women should do what they want and not just on leap day! I mean, come on, there’s nothing wrong with woman proposing, I plan on doing that too.

  2. The same guy who was such a loser that she covered his clothes in glitter before dumping them on the lawn? I do hope the best for her but I’ve seen this played out more than once and the “changed” person can’t pretend forever…

    1. If he’s changed then he won’t be a pretender.

Despite popular opinion, some people change with growth

      1. Some people genuinely do, yes. But I’d say it’s the minority. I’ve seen too many people marry their changed partner and have faith in them only to be screwed over 5-10 years down the road and wish they’d believed who they were the first time.

        1. Since their “change” could be very “generally growing up” based, I give them better-than-average odds on that. There had been prior glitter-based revenge. Not that it wasn’t brilliant and warranted but I don’t hear that and assume a forty-year-old did it.

My husband and I have known each other since we were 14 and 16, didn’t actually get together until our late twenties. We’d been good friends in the interim but if we’d been married like three years before that point I’d probably have smothered him in his sleep with one of the 50 pound bags of rice we recently threw away unopened after using many, many normal sized packages because “committing to the overthrow of society but actively refusing to meal prep around it” pretty much summed him up for a few years. Fine for the high school friend you keep in touch with via text and when he visits his parents at Christmas but not for someone I’d be legally bound to.

Also, throwing this out there, the fact that literally no one recommends paying tuition with credit cards means it’s a dumbass plan, not that you’re a genius. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣
