Jenelle Evans recently revealed if she has plans for any more kids— or any more weddings.
The former Mrs. Evans Rogers Eason recently did a Q&A with fans on Instagram, where she was asked if she would be interested in adding to her existing family, either via shooting out more spawn or walking down the aisle yet again.
As Teen Mom: The Next Chapter fans are aware, Jenelle has been separated from her husband David Eason since February, and, more-recently has been dating her manager-turned-future-soulmate August Keen and shacking up in Las Vegas to be closer to him. (David has also moved on and has swapped life on his and Jenelle’s broken-down boat for playing house with his new girlfriend, Kenleigh Heatwole.)
When Jenelle— who already has one divorce under her belt thanks to her short-lived marriage to Courtland Rogers— was asked if she will take a third trot down the aisle, she shut the idea down.
“Don’t think so,” Jenelle replied.
While she’s not open to getting hitched again, Jenelle said she is open to possibly having more children, although she acknowledged that the fact that she had her tubes tied after giving birth to her third child, Ensley, in 2017, would be an issue.
(In addition to Ensley— whom she shares with David— Jenelle also has son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, and son Kaiser with former fiancé/soulmate Nathan Griffith.)
“Do you want more kids if your future partner wants one?” one of Jenelle’s followers asked her.
“I would be open to it with the right person but my tubes are tied so that would be a lot of money for IVF,” Jenelle replied.
Jenelle has not yet indicated if August is “the right person.”
She did, however, state that she is still feeling a little blue over her separation from David.
“Mentally felling iffy lately,” Jenelle wrote when asked how she’s been feeling lately. (And, no, that is not a typo in her quote.)
“IDK I’m sure it’s just another wave of emotions while trying to heal from my separation.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Jenelle and David were set to meet up in court earlier this month to discuss topics such as custody of Ensley, distribution of shared property, terms of their divorce and the psychological evaluation that Jenelle requested David undergo. However, the case was continued until next month.
Back in May, David revealed that, since his split from Jenelle, he is no longer interested in getting married again. (David had been married to his baby mama Whitney Johnson before walking down the aisle with Jenelle.)
“I’m not gonna say I’ll never date again, but I’ll never get married again!” David said on TikTok Live. “That’s for sure. There’s no reason to get married to anybody, ever.”
David went on to state that a legal marriage is not necessary.
“Not through the government, not through the paperwork,” he said. “You don’t gotta be in the system to be married. That’s not what marriage is. Marriage is not a piece of paper! I promise you that. Anyone who tells you it is is wrong! Don’t do it!”
