Angelina Pivarnick entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday during a hearing regarding her June arrest, The Sun reports.
As The Ashley previously told you, the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star was arrested June 2 and charged with Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Obstructing the Administration of Law and Resisting Arrest following an incident that took place at the New Jersey home she and fiancé Vinny Tortorella share.
(Angelina was not taken to the Monmouth County Jail over the incident, as she was “released on summons and given a ticket due to the degree of the crime.”)
On Tuesday, Angelina’s first hearing was held, during which the judge in the case confirmed with Angelina’s attorney, James Leonard, that his client was entering a not guilty plea and that the matter would reset “for what we are hopeful will be a resolution.”
Angelina appeared alongside her attorney throughout the virtual hearing, while her fiancé Vinny was reportedly “present on and off.”
Shortly after Angelina’s arrest last month, her attorney claimed that a bad reaction to over-the-counter prescription medicine was to blame for the Staten Island native’s behavior; however, it was later revealed that police were called to Angelina and Vinny’s home for a domestic violence call. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the Jersey Shore star allegedly tried to keep officers from entering the home to conduct an investigation, which resulted in her charge of “obstruction.”
Angelina received the charge of Simple Assault for allegedly striking the victim– a male, whose name was redacted from the police report– with her “hands/fists causing scratches and complaint of pain to the victim’s hands.”
The male victim reportedly suffered “bodily injury” as a result of Angelina’s alleged actions during the incident.
According to police, Angelina was charged with Resisting Arrest for pulling her arms away and refusing to “comply with the instructions of the officers once she was taken into custody.”
The charge of Criminal Mischief was added due to Angelina allegedly striking the victim’s car with her hands, causing $500 or less in damage to the vehicle.
Angelina’s next court hearing is set for August 20.

I quit watching the show as soon as they brought her back. She really is a dump
How are you charged with resisting arrest if you’re not even arrested?!
She was arrested, she just wasn’t taken to jail because she was released on summons
