Christina Hall Fires Back After Estranged Husband Josh Hall Accuses Her of Blindsiding Him With Divorce; Christina Calls Josh “An Insecure Man With a Large Ego”

“If you think this room is messy, you should see what our divorce is gonna look like!”

Christina Hall’s divorce from husband Josh Hall might just be her messiest split to date.

The couple– who both filed for divorce last week after nearly three years of marriage– are currently embroiled in some marital mud-slinging, seemingly exacerbated by Christina alleging in court documents that her third husband transferred $35,000 of her “separate property rental income” into his personal bank account prior to their split.

Amid the money-stealing allegation going public, Christina took to her Instagram Story Thursday to predict her estranged husband’s next move and to accuse him of trying to “take what [he does] not deserve.”

In a series of posts on Thursday and Friday, Christina ripped her soon-to-be-third-ex-husband a new one, writing that Josh is trying to play the victim, while also taking things that don’t belong to him.

“Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of ‘how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch,’” she wrote. “Meanwhile, I’m over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be … .

“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try to take what they do not deserve / what they did NOT work for should be ashamed,” she continued. “An insecure man with a large ego can sure try to derail you- but, ‘still I rise’ … .”

Christina went on to remind her followers that “divorces do not happen overnight” and that “there is always a breaking point.”

“This one is personal,” she added.

The following day, Christina shared a screenshot of a TMZ article, which, as she predicted, claimed that Josh was “blindsided” that she “chose to end their marriage,” insisting that Josh was not only dedicated to his wife, but also to the three children Christina has with her two previous husbands.

Citing claims made in the story that she would only speak to Josh through an attorney following a disagreement between the two of them, Christina argued that she never blocked her husband, nor did she receive any calls or texts from him the following day, which happened to be her birthday (July 9).

“Strange- No flowers, no card, no messages like ‘Hope you have a nice birthday,’” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Hmm … something’s not adding up here. But I’m down to keep playing ‘Christina Vs. The Victim’ as I love this game.”

Christina kept the “game” going by recommending a book to her followers titled, It’s Not You: Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People, claiming it was a real “page turner.”

Later on Friday, Christina posted to her Instagram Story a screenshot of another claim made in the TMZ article by a “source,” insisting the source was “confused AF” when they stated that the Tennessee rental properties in question belonged to both her and Josh.

“This source is confused af. Not that hard to look up a deed … ,” she wrote. “Co-owned. Pretty sure I bought this [rental] before I met you and a 1031 exchange. Handled the bills? Like paid for them with your money? Uh ya nooo. Def not.”

Josh has not yet responded to Christina’s Instagram Stories rant.

As The Ashley reported last week, Josh is asking that the court make Christina pay him alimony and to rule that Christina cannot collect financial support from him.

In recently filed court documents, Christina addressed the notion of alimony, stating that, while she understands the court may require her to pay “some spousal support to Josh and reasonable attorney’s fees to his counsel,” she believes this is a “simple case with straightforward accounting over a short period of time” and that any fees and costs “should be minimal.”

“…and by ‘minimal’ I mean zero.”

“Like all hard-working mothers, my life revolves around my children and my work,” she continued. “It is my understanding that Josh has his own income and therefore he should not need any spousal support from me. He has sufficient assets of his own to pay his own attorney’s fees and costs.”

In addition to alimony, Josh is asking the court to divide his and Christina’s assets based on what they each owned before tying the knot and asking for the rights to any HGTV and/or Discovery Network shows or specials he and Christina produced together during their short marriage. The pair– who reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement– are jointly involved in multiple TV shows and projects, including Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country, on which Josh has appeared and served as a producer.

The Halls were also set to star alongside Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather El Moussa, in the upcoming HGTV competition series The Flip Off, though the series is now reportedly moving forward without Josh.

  1. All these jabs at him like his feelings don’t matter but she was upset he didn’t send her flowers, a card, text or call for her birthday days after she filed for the divorce? 3 divorces in 4 years? She should just be quiet; the men clearly aren’t the problem here. She looks bitter and petty.

  2. While what she says abour him and reason for divorcing may be true, she really didn’t need to marry the guy. She marries and has kids too quickly.
