Jenelle Evans‘ sister has come out swinging online, defending her mother Barbara and calling out the Teen Mom star for being a “bully” who “constantly blames other people” for her problems.
Ashleigh Evans Wilson — who surfaces every few months or so on social media to address her sister’s recent actions — hit TikTok Live this week to discuss a rant Jenelle posted last month about Barbara in which she claimed Babs sold her out to the tabloids and stated that her mom was “dangerous and never one to be trusted.”
Ashleigh defended Barb, insisting it was actually Jenelle’s BFF Tori Rhyne— and not Barbara— who sold the story in question to the tabloids. Ashleigh went on to address a variety of topics, including Jenelle’s split from her husband David Eason, and the “deep-rooted mental health issues” that Ashleigh claims Jenelle has.
“I actually saw some things online about my mother,” Ashleigh said. “They were very vindictive, and they were geared towards her…but when you have to constantly talk about certain people, especially family, and degrade them and make them feel a certain way— piss them off or upset them or trigger them, you are a very weak-minded person and you are a bully.
“And let me tell you why: people like that have deep-rooted mental health issues that stem from childhood or something like that,” Ashleigh added.
Ashleigh then mentioned that Jenelle’s recent trip back to North Carolina has escalated the Evans family drama. (As The Ashley previously told you, Jenelle— along with her booooooyfriend August Keen and eldest son Jace — came back to North Carolina for a bit to pack up Jenelle’s house on The Land, and attend a few court dates.)
According to Ashleigh, having Jenelle back in town was less-than-relaxing for her and Babs.
“Drama hits the fan!” Ashleigh said. “And my mom really doesn’t want anything to do with that. So, my sister keeps saying these things on the Internet, and everybody is just minding their own business and moving on. [That] doesn’t give her the right to bully my mom or say these things.”
Ashleigh went on to imply that Jenelle has “deep-rooted mental health issues” and has to “constantly blame other people” for her issues. (In recent weeks, Jenelle has posted a lot of things to social media about her estranged husband David Eason, something Ashleigh alluded to in her rant.)
“I’m not really sure what’s going on with my sister’s divorce,” Ashleigh said. “I really don’t care…however, when she keeps attacking my mom and the rest of my family, I’m going to keep speaking out, because it’s wrong.”
Ashleigh then pointed out that Jenelle has been doing “crazy stuff” on her own that had nothing to do with David.
“Even with David, him being crazy, she was doing crazy stuff [too],” Ashleigh said. “Was she scared when she had a gun pulled out in that video?” (Ashleigh is most-likely talking about this scene from Teen Mom 2, in which Jenelle pulled a gun out during a road rage incident.)
“Was she scared when she decided to involve [herself] in my custody situation in another state with one of my ex-husbands and make up lies and rumors about me? Was she scared when she was banging on my mother’s windows, before she lost custody in the first place, years before my mother signed [custody of Jace] over? Was she scared with all the other s**t that she’s done that doesn’t have to do with David? No.
“She’s mentally unstable,” Ashleigh added.
She then went on to accuse Tori of being the sell-out, claiming the drumstick aficionado went right to the tabloids after returning from a trip to Las Vegas, where she was visiting Jenelle.
“She’s accusing my mom of selling [her] out to the tabloids, here’s my thing: [Jenelle’s] s**tty ass friend, Tori — and she is a sh**ty ass friend— …she came back from Las Vegas and came back to North Carolina…the only person who sold her out, I think is her friend Tori. That’s the only thing I can think of because she wants that quick cash.
“It’s unfortunate that people choose sh**ty friends, but when you’re a toxic person, you can only attract toxic people, unfortunately,” Ashleigh added. I just wanted to point that out. It really just irks me because, at this point, my mother doesn’t really have anything to do with it.”
Ashleigh then addressed Jenelle’s recent statement in which she swore she would never film with Barbara again, writing, “there’s never going to be enough money in the world to make me want to film with you.”
According to Ashleigh, though, it’s Barb who is resisting signing on to film for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter with Jenelle.
“It’s the total reverse of what my sister said, that she doesn’t want to film with my mom. It’s my mother that does not want to film with my sister!” she said. “Here we go, a narcissist at your finest…everything that my sister says is just a reflection of herself. And it’s really f**king sad. And I’m hoping that she will get her life together but, I mean, she’s still going to have a rocky life.
“She’s got serious mental health issues,” Ashleigh continued. “You can have a million dollars and have the greatest house, but you can still have mental health issues. And she still doesn’t get it that she’s the problem. And that’s what really bothers me…”
This is not the first time this year that Ashleigh has lashed out at her famous sister via social media. Back in February Ashleigh posted on TikTok about embarrassed she is when people find out that she’s related to Jenelle.

Feels weird to be telling someone’s family member not to speak out, claiming they don’t know what they’re talking about, while simultaneously stating that you as a total stranger know more or best. Jenelle is actually the youngest of Barb’s 3 children. I believe Ashleigh is the oldest with brother Colin in the middle. Ashleigh has indeed been present throughout all of JE’s childhood and likely experienced many of the same things *first*, seeing as she is the eldest child. I think that places Ashleigh in a much better position to speak on things that happened in their childhood than any fan/hater who “understands” simply bc they’ve had experiences that feel similar.
Ashleigh you say Janelle has deep rooted mental problems from her childhood, why do you hold that against her ? You are younger than what Janelle is so she has had to go through things that you know nothing about. I understand Janelle completely because I had the same thing happened to me when I was a child and to this day they still bother me I am 68 years old. You are the lucky one you didn’t have to live through the things that Janelle did. You need to pray for your sister and her children she is doing the best she can considering the way she was raised. I love Babs too but she also knows that it was kind of crazy when Janelle was younger with everything that Bab’s had to go through. PRAYERS FOR JANELLE AND FAMILY AND ALSO FOR BAB’S🙏🙏🙏
