Christine Quinn’s Estranged Husband Christian Dumontet Accuses Former ‘Selling Sunset’ Star of Causing “Massive Damage” to Their Home & Exposing Him to “Criminal Action”

The battle of the similarly-named exes continues…

Former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn has gone from selling multi-million dollar homes to (allegedly) damaging one— at least that’s what her estranged husband Christian Dumontet is claiming in new legal documents.

Christian is accusing Christine of causing “massive damage” to–- and ultimately abandoning–- his $7 million mansion, which Christine was awarded sole use of in April amid the couple’s split, In Touch Weekly reports.

As The Ashley previously reported, Christian was arrested in March for domestic violence after allegedly throwing a bag of trash containing glass at Christine that missed her and hit the couple’s two-year-old son. Christian was booked on an assault with a deadly weapon charge (felony level) and released from custody the following day, when he proceeded to earn a second arrest– this time, a misdemeanor charge for returning to his and Christine’s home after Christine filed an Emergency Protection Order (EPO) against him.

Two weeks after his back-to-back arrests, Christian filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Following the March incident, Christine and Christian filed respective restraining order petitions against each other. While Christine was awarded sole use of her and Christian’s marital home as part of her temporary restraining order, Christian is claiming that Christine has failed to maintain the home.

“It is clear that [Christine] is not maintaining the property as the marital home, nor the familiar home for the child,” Christian’s attorney claims. “[Christine] is now in violation of the [court order requiring] her to maintain the property.”

Additionally, Christian alleges that Christine’s failure to maintain the property–- which is solely owned by him–- is creating “massive damage to the house and exposing” him to “criminal action” as the home’s owner. As a result, Christian claims he is now “facing potential misdemeanor criminal charges and fines of [$1,000] a day if the property [is] not remediated immediately.”

According to Christian, neighbors have sent him photos of the Los Angeles home, showing that it has been tagged with notices of disruption from the gas company, and has mail overflowing in the mailbox. He also claimed in July to have learned of an “irregular and excessive” water bill that had been racked up at the home and claimed in August that he was notified of an issue relating to mosquitos breeding in the pool area on the property.

“Well, that tracks because you’re definitely buggin’ me, Christian.”

In court documents obtained by In Touch, Christian asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to amend the temporary restraining order obtained by Christine in response to his ex allegedly failing to maintain the property. Christian also claims that he needs access to the LA mansion immediately.

In response, Christine has asked that the court deny Christian’s request, arguing that her estranged husband isn’t even living in the United States at the moment.

“Nice try, pal.”

“There is absolutely no urgency for Petitioner to get back into the marital residence because he is not even in the United States,” she stated. “He is living in Budapest.”

A judge has yet to rule on the issue regarding Christian and Christine’s former marital home.

  1. I recently listened to the episode of Call Her Daddy that Christine was on.

Christian absolutely knew who he was marrying and I have no sympathy for either.
