Kail Lowry Says Fourth Baby Daddy Elijah Scott Is “the Cool Dad” to Her 7 Kids: “He’s An Angel On This Earth”

“Fourth time’s a charm, folks.”

Elijah Scott isn’t just Kail Lowry’s fourth baby daddy, he’s also her favorite. (At least at this moment, anyway. )

In a new interview with Us Weekly, the former Teen Mom 2 star sang her boyfriend’s praises, calling him “cool, calm and collected.”

“I’ve never experienced that in my entire life,” Kail said of Elijah, whom she began dating in 2022. “He’s an angel on this earth and I don’t know what I did to deserve him. [He’s like], ‘Nothing is too big of a problem, we’re gonna figure it out.’ And that’s really different for me.”

As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Kail shares three children with her neighbor-turned-baby-daddy: twins Verse and Valley, who were born in late 2023, and 21-month-old son Rio. She also shares 14-year-old Isaac with ex Jo Rivera; 10-year-old Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with ex Chris Lopez.

According to Kail, Elijah is loved by all of her children– including her oldest four– which is something she has “never really seen” before.

“Isaac and Elijah are best friends,” she said. “If Elijah is not at a game for Lincoln, Lincoln’s like, ‘Where is Elijah?’ Not even looking for me, looking for him. And then Lux and Creed love him because they just jump all over him. They think he’s like, the cool dad. Maybe not their dad, but the cool dad.”

“Sure mom, whatever you say.”

In addition to keeping her relationship with Elijah more-private than some of her past relationships– or at least off TV– Kail said she doesn’t always involve Elijah in co-parenting issues that don’t have a direct impact on their relationship.

“I think in the past– like, maybe with Lux and Creed’s dad– I brought baggage from the other relationships into that one,” Kail said. “For this one, everything is so separate. I really try not to involve Elijah in anything that he doesn’t need to be involved in. We’re not worried or arguing or talking about things that are not gonna directly impact our relationship.

“How about you just sit there and look pretty, Elijah.”

“ … We coparent where we need to coparent, I coparent where I need to coparent and I let him know what he needs to know, but he doesn’t need to know everything,” she added.

Kail also seemed to recognize that the public doesn’t need to know the ins and outs of her coparenting relationships, either, telling the outlet that the biggest coparenting lesson she’s learned over the years is to “keep most of it off of the Internet.”

“I said MOST, not ALL.”

“It’s only been about two years since I’ve really, really honed in on that and actually stuck by it,” she said. “It’s been, probably, the best thing that I could have done for my kids and my coparenting.”

In the same interview with Us Weekly, Kail discussed her current co-parenting situation with Javi.

“[It] ebbs and flows,” she told the magazine. “Some days it’s really great. Other days, we hit some bumps in the road. But I think being that we’re divorced and sort of still in the public eye, I think that we do the best we can.”

“We’ve got a whole WaWa shopping cart full of that!”

As for the status of her co-parenting relationship with Jo, Kail reported that they are good but “not every day.”

“For a little while it was, it was a little weird just because the older the child gets, the dynamic of coparenting shifts,” she said. “So we don’t need to communicate every day. There was a period of time where we really didn’t need to communicate at all, but on the same token, I’m podcasting with Isaac’s stepmom [Vee Torres] every day.”

Surprisingly, this is an improvement from where Jo and Kail’s co-parenting relationship was just a few months ago. Back in April, Kail stated on her podcast that she and Jo had no relationship at all

“Jo and I don’t communicate,” she said of her first baby daddy at the time. “Like, we have no communication whatsoever. We don’t talk.”

While Kail claims it’s been about two years since she “honed in on” keeping her coparenting and baby daddy conversations off the Internet, she and Chris– aka baby daddy No. 3– have made a habit of publicly leaking each other’s big news over the years, with nearly all of the news leaked turning out to be true.

  1. I do not understand how ANYONE tolerates Kail- even her kids. Sorry, not sorry. That girl is ALL drama

  2. She seems happy and Elijah really seems like a good guy. If Isaac loves him so much, he must be a good man. I’m happy for Kail and the family.

  3. Uh huh.

    She’s probably paying his way.
He doesn’t want the gravy train to end so he’s doing whatever he needs to.

Chris enjoyed all the rides to the store and runs through the drive thru but didn’t want to be beholden to Kail.

Kail wants a servant, a whipping boy. She doesn’t want a partner. She wants someone who will do her demands and she found one for now.

  4. That won’t last long and within a week or so she will be bad mouthing him too. I am so glad she is not on the show anymore. She didn’t contribute anything to it other than showing other young ladies how to have several baby daddies and it is okay. She is a mess!
