Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Claims ‘Jersey Shore’ Producers Encouraged Cops to Arrest Her On-Camera During Infamous ‘Where’s the Beach?’ Scene

Snooki, truly taking one for the team.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is peeling back the layers of hairspray and tanning oil curtain on one of the most infamous scenes in Jersey Shore history.

On the latest episode of the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Nicole recalled the events that took place during a Season 3 episode of ‘Jersey Shore’ aptly titled, ‘Where’s the Beach?’ which, as fans likely remember, featured Nicole getting arrested for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and criminal annoyance. While Nicole doesn’t deny being inebriated at the time of the incident, she shocked fans this week when she revealed that she was only arrested after the show’s producers encouraged cops to do so!

“Those cops weren’t on shift for the town,” Nicole said, according to Page Six. “They were on shift from production to make sure they are protecting us from crazy people.

“I don’t even think it’s legal because they weren’t working for the town, but I watched the video back and one of the producers said, ‘Just arrest her,’” she continued.

“Keep ’em rolling, this is gold!”

Nicole explained that she heard the producer’s comment when she went to court for the arrest and “they had to look over the tapes” filmed that day.

Despite Nicole doubting the legalities of what went down, she was arrested for her actions that day. Charges were dropped two months later, though she was fined $500 and ordered to serve two days of community service.

The general consensus in the courtroom after watching that footage. (Probably.)

As for her confusion on where the beach was located, Nicole– who admitted she had been “drinking nonstop” that day– claimed that she “knew the beach was right there,” but her “drunk self” couldn’t figure out how to access it.

“There’s only a certain amount of entries to get on the beach,” she explained. “I couldn’t find them anywhere, so I was like, ‘Where’s the beach? How do I get on the beach?’ And the guy’s like, ‘Right there,’ and I’m like, ‘I know, moron. How do I get ON the beach?’”

Let’s give her some credit for not attempting to hop the fence drunk as hell while wearing her house shoes…

Nicole also recalled that she “started to black out” while being handcuffed.

Nicole claims she no longer has any hard feelings towards the producers for what happened back in 2010, as she feels it’s “such an iconic scene” in ‘Jersey Shore’ history.

And just like that, an iconic scene– and criminal record– were born.

“ … it was amazing, but I’m like, ‘Bitch, why did you tell them to arrest me? I’ve never been arrested before,’” she said, adding that she believes the producers and the police were ultimately just trying to keep the situation– and Nicole herself– from getting out of control.

“ … I think they just … they knew I was going to cause a crazy scene so they just wanted it to stop so they arrested me,” she said, admitting that she “felt like a boss” after the incident went down.

  1. They were authentic people back then, despite production. Now they’re so fake and scripted. I don’t know how fans of the original show can stand the new show.

    1. This is so true. I stopped watching the reboot after the 2nd season because the editing was way too much and you can clearly tell they’re acting half the time. The golden years of reality TV are behind us.
