Kody Brown‘s only remaining marriage appears to be on the rocks.
In a sneak-peek clip of the Season 19 premiere of Sister Wives, Kody and his (only) wife Robyn both admit that their marriage is in a state of turmoil. As the show’s fans know, Kody’s other three wives– Meri, Janelle and Christine— all split from the poodle-haired family patriarch, leaving Robyn to be the one and only Mrs. Kody Brown. However, it’s revealed that things are not happy between the Kody and Robyn.
While at a family party, Kody notices that his ex, Christine, is happy— something that cannot be said about him and Robyn.
“Christine is happy, she’s in a good place. She’s moved out, she’s moved on,” Kody says. “Robyn and I are really kind of in a struggling place.”
Robyn— who has always proclaimed herself to be “Kody’s Number One Fan”— admits that the struggle is real between Mr. and Mrs. Brown.
“We’re probably doing the worst we’ve ever done in our marriage,” she says. “It’s been tough. It’s been tough between us.”
Robyn went on to say that Kody is looking for someone to point the finger at for his other three marriages blowing up.
“He doesn’t know who to blame, himself or one of the other wives,” Robyn says.
“Kody’s feeling a lot of rejection,” she added.
Robyn says that Kody is suspicious of her and wonders if she will be the next one to give him the boot.
“So, I’m on my toes. I’m having to consistently make sure that he is not sabotaging our relationship,” she tells the cameras.
The newly released Season 19 clip is not the only sign that things are less-than-stellar in Kody and Robyn’s marriage. In an extended season trailer put out last month, Robyn again mentions that she feels Kody is “sabotaging our relationship.”
“They have all betrayed me!” a nearly-screaming Kody says to Robyn, regarding Ex-Wives No.1-3.
In the original trailer, Robyn even tells Kody that she’s “having a hard time” and that she feels like she’s “losing respect” for her hair-challenged husband.
“Robyn, I can’t even get [marriage] straight with you right now!” Kody replies.
As The Ashley recently reported, Kody and Robyn recently put their Flagstaff, Arizona, love nest up for sale, causing fans to wonder if this may be a sign of a split. (Kody and Robyn have yet to reveal where they are moving.)
However, Kody’s daughter Mykelti recently stated that she highly doubts Robyn and Kody would actually split up.
“I would be so unbelievably surprised if Robyn and Dad were separating,” she said. “So surprised. Honestly, that would be the very last thing I would think would happen, the separation. That’s, like, the very last thing that would ever happen. Maybe [the move is caused by] a financial issue, where they want to get to a place where they financially have more options, maybe? I don’t know.”
The 19th season of ‘Sister Wives’ premieres Sunday on TLC.

I think Slobbyn is putting on the drama. She wanted Kootie all for herself, and now she’s stuck with his baldylocks. The OG 3 are much happier without having to kiss Slobbyn’s butt. Good for them! They’re better off without his churlishness.
What sense does it make that he’s mad at them for leaving when he didn’t care about them in the first place?! It had been obvious for years that he had no interest at all in the other “wives”.
I think his whole problem is the change in how he’s viewed by the general public. In the beginning, he was portrayed as a hero blazing the trail of acceptance for their way of life. That narrative imploded, and with it, his reputation. That’s what he can’t get over! The rest is BS.
I’m starting to find Christine really annoying.
I don’t have an issue with her. I understand why she has no regard for him and I agree there’s no reason to pretend otherwise.
I am with Mykelti on this one. I would to be VERY surprised if they split up. They are just like a bunch of couples who stay together just for the sake of it. (There’s NO WAY after it was shown on TV what an asshole he is, Kody would get anyone to be willingly to date him…but then again, David from Teen Mom 2 got a woman stupid enough to date him so who knows…Robyn would also have a hard time)
Robyn is like he doesn’t know who to blame himself or the other wives.
Well, Kody has spent the last 30+ years blaming his three other wives for all the problems in his life, and now that he can’t anymore, well I guess that only leaves, Robyn… So she will now feel what the other three women have felt for 3 decades. I don’t wish bad things, but I always just like when karma is waiting for you.
I am sure that Meri and Christine felt rejected by Kody for decades. I think he neglected Jenelle too but I think she was ok with it being primarily a friend based relationship versus a romantic relationship. Until Kody gave Jenelle the choice of him or kicking her two sons out. She chose her children as she should have. I think it’s a bit ironic that Kody now feels rejected and thinks he is somehow the victim. Which shows that Kody still has zero self awareness. Congrats Robyn, you really got yourself a prize.
Janelle has far too much pride and kept up the illusion of a functional “marriage” due to that, imo.
