Michelle Petty, the wife of eldest Brown child Logan Brown, is setting the record straight after the coupleās wedding was referenced on Sundayās episode of Sister Wives. She also expressed how upsetting it was to find out that the family had spoken so negatively about the wedding on-camera.
Viewers watched on Sunday as the fractured Brown family geared up to attend a āfamily wedding,ā while oddly never mentioning the name of the couple who was tying the knot. While many fans of the show were able to figure out that the āawkwardā event Kody Brown and his current and former wives were speaking about was Logan and Michelleās wedding, many found it odd that the coupleās name was never mentioned at any point during the episode.
Someone else who found the lengthy wedding discussion scene odd was Michelle, who has since taken to social media to clear up some of the confusion.
As fans of āSister Wivesā know, Loganā son of Kody and Janelle Brownā no longer appears on his familyās TLC show, nor do he or Michelle speak publicly about āSister Wivesā very often. Despite no longer being involved in the show, Michelle took to the comment section of a TikTok posted by @historyinsixtie this week, in which she revealed that she and Logan told the Browns they āpreferred the wedding not be mentioned on the show at all,ā but knew it was ultimately up to the family and TLC to decide how the content would be discussed on the show.
āWe had no clue it would be a 20 minute plot point,ā she revealed, later stating in another comment that she didnāt know why āTLC decided to be vagueā about whose wedding the family was attending.
ā ā¦ at no point have we told them to never mention our names or pretend we donāt exist,ā she continued. āJust trying to keep our lives off TV as much as we can.ā
Michelle went on to reveal that she and Logan wouldnāt have minded their weddingā or their namesā being mentioned in the episode, but that she didnāt appreciate the familyās negative take on their big day.
āSeeing a long explanation that [the wedding] was sad and awkward was not fun to come across on my TikTok FYP lol,ā she admitted.
In response to a fan who suggested TLC was being petty by not allowing the Browns to mention that it was Michelle and Loganās wedding due to the couple not wanting to be featured on the show, Michelle joked, āthis is my theory too.ā
And speaking of petty, Michelle also addressed comments made by her in-laws about the wedding itselfā presumably those made by Kody, who claimed on the episode that he and wife Robyn Brown were āput over in a cornerā during the nuptials “probably for our safety”ā Michelle assured fans that she and Logan ātried really hard to have a day that made everyone feel comfortable.ā
Michelle also acknowledged that while she typically tries to ābury [her] head in the sand and ignore as much [āSister Wivesā] content as possible,ā she decided to speak out this week to clear up the confusion surrounding Sundayās episode.
āWeāre just doing the best we can to set boundaries,ā she said. ā ā¦ Iām commenting on social media in response to what was said on the show. Itās not typical of me to do so, but I wanted to clear it up.ā
While a fan told Michelle that viewers miss seeing her and Logan on ‘Sister Wives,’ Michelle insisted she and her husband are āpretty averageā and āboring people,ā which is how they like it.
ā ā¦ so you arenāt missing much š,ā she added.

So you wish they had mentioned your names? You have to make up your mind, do you want the fame or not? However, now you’re no longer a part of the show, so if this is what you wanted, Michelle…
I was so disappointed when Logan left the show. I’m happy for him and Michelle and it was obviously a good decision to leave. But I do miss him and Maddie on the show. They were always my favorites of the kids.
Does anyone else think the 20 minute “discussion” was because they’re running out of content? What else do they have to talk about other than old grudges, broken marriages, Sobbin’s “betrayal” and how to split the land. How many times are they going to revise the lost lines in a four lot subdivision?! It’s not rocket science. You need to test for wells and septic systems and plan they subdivision accordingly.

Logan & Michelle seem so nice.
If they asked the family not to discuss it, it was pretty shitty to discuss āa weddingā at length and talk about how awkward it was. Not surprised though. These people have been exploiting their kids for years.
To be honest it was disrespectful to discuss the wedding on TV. Logan & Michelle have gone years without being on the show because they wanted privacy and to not be attached to the Sister Wives show. That should have been respected by all involved. Especially with Kody purposely exaggerating and lying about shoving him & eyebrows in the corner. Maybe Kody really does believe his own bullshit. Somehow thatās even more disturbing to think about.
But at the same time, were their wedding pictures not sold to people or TV guide or whatever? You can’t really have it both ways. Either you’re part of it or not, you can’t say you hate the fame and then profit from it. I completely respect their decision to step out of the spotlight and applaud them for it as much as I loved level-headed Logan.
I agree, but that’s what a narcissist & control freak does. Plus it’s typical behaviour to blame his ex’s & children for everything, he needs to grow up.
