Hannah Smith of Love Island USA Season 6 was arrested last week in Cobb County, Georgia, for making terroristic threats and acts, and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer, The Sun reports.
According to the outlet, Hannah– one of the first Islanders to enter the ‘Love Island’ villa in Season 6– was escorted out of the Coca-Cola Roxy concert venue located at The Battery in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 30 at 11 p.m. for reportedly “being disorderly.” While being escorted from the venue, the 26 year-old North Carolina resident allegedly became violent with a Cobb County police officer.
“As she was being escorted from the Orange Deck parking structure and to her Uber she attempted to punch me, with a closed fist; however, she did not make contact with me,” the arresting officer claimed in the warrant obtained by The Sun. “While in handcuffs she also attempted to kick me multiple times.”
The officer went on to claim that Hannah “did threaten to commit a crime of violence.”
“While [Hannah] was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center, she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim,” the officer continued.
Prior to allegedly threatening the law enforcement officer, Hannah was allegedly “yelling and screaming” inside the concert venue while “intoxicated,” leading venue security to contact police, who responded to the scene and were accompanied by Emergency Medical Staff.
“While walking in the Orange Deck [parking garage] out of the first floor, [Hannah] punched the EMS staff member making contact on her right arm,” the incident report stated, according to The Sun. “The staff worker advised she did not want to press charges. [Hannah], who was still yelling, cursing, and dropping items out of her purse, began to walk toward me and attempted to punch me. However, before she made contact I grabbed her arm and put her on the ground and placed her under arrest.”
Upon arriving to the jail, Hannah reportedly refused to exit the vehicle until the person in the passenger seat of the police car was also taken out of the vehicle and placed under arrest, though the law enforcement officer assured Hannah “that no one was in the front seat of the vehicle.” Still, Hannah “refused to exit the vehicle.”
Hannah– who eventually did exit the vehicle– went on to have her mugshot taken and was booked into the Cobb County Jail. She was later released on $8,000 bond.
The terms of Hannah’s bond include no alcohol, marijuana or drugs and she must submit to random alcohol/drug tests at her own expense.
