Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s relationship with ex and baby mama Jenn Harley was once a rollercoaster ride fit for the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, however, Jenn recently revealed to DailyMail.com that her and Ron’s relationship as co-parents is “better than ever.”
The mom-of-three, who shares six-year-old daughter Ariana with the Jersey Shore star, told the outlet that despite everything she and Ronnie went through in the past, they now speak on the phone “almost every day” and have found a way to be “good co-parents.”
“I couldn’t ask for a better situation between us right now,” she said. “Living in the same city [Miami, Florida,] now, it’s been a dream to co-parent with him.”
As The Ashley previously told you, Ronnie was granted primary physical custody of his and Jenn’s daughter in October 2022. A judge ruled at the time that Ariana’s primary residence would be with Ronnie in California, while Jenn was granted visits, which were permitted to take place in her home state of Nevada. However, Ronnie and Jenn went on to relocate (separately) to Miami, where they both currently reside.
Years before the exes were granted joint legal custody of Ariana, the two were getting into quite a bit of legal issues of their own. During the summer of 2018, Jenn was arrested on charges of domestic violence for allegedly hitting and dragging Ronnie with her car. On New Year’s Eve that same year, she allegedly threw an ashtray at Ronnie, resulting in her May 2019 arrest on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence– a charge she was later cleared of in July 2019.
Things once again turned physical between the toxic twosome in October 2019 when Ronnie was arrested for assaulting Jenn at an Airbnb the couple had been renting in Los Angeles. Ronnie ultimately accepted a plea deal in May 2020, which kept him from doing any time behind bars.
Ronnie and Jenn both went on to get arrested in 2021 for unrelated incidents involving their partners at the time. As fans of Jersey Shore Family Vacation may remember, Ronnie ended up stepping away from the MTV series in May 2021 to “seek medical treatment for mental health issues” he had “ignored too long.” That same year, Jenn checked into rehab for alcohol dependency.
“We’ve both gone through dramatic changes in our lives and both changed as people in general,” Jenn said of her and Ronnie’s progress in recent years. “I can see such a difference in him and the same with me. If we can do it, anybody can do it!”
After years of breaking up, making up, feuding, getting arrested and more, Jenn says she’s happy that she and Ron have finally gotten to a positive– and presumably, far less toxic– place with one another.
“We’re literally on the same page and the best we’ve ever been, so I’m happy with that between us,” she told the Daily Mail.
Jenn went on to add that she and Ronnie have even discussed the idea of her making a return to ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ so that viewers can see how far they have come since viewers last saw them on TV together.
“We’ve actually talked about it,” she said. “I was like, ‘They should show us and show how good we are co-parenting now and how much we’ve turned around.’”

Oh no one saw this coming! Jen kissing Ronnie’s ass to get back on tv. lol I guess as long as these kids are growing up without their parents getting arrested every other month that’s all that really matters. But wow how pathetic is this hoe
Honestly I believe that the little girl was what actually changed Ronnie and made him want to be better. He seems to be a very good Dad to her now. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
