Katie Maloney has a new Bubba man in her life.
The Vanderpump Rules star revealed the news Wednesday on her Disrespectfully podcast, telling listeners and co-host Dayna Kathan that she’s officially in a relationship.
“I’ll share it. So, I have a boyfriend,” Katie said. “ … Yeah, I’m in love, everybody. Katie’s in love. Yeah, I’m really happy.”
While Katie didn’t reveal the identity of the new man in her life, she did share that he travels for work and that she recently took a trip to see him.
“ … And it was really amazing because I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks,” she said. “And just being able to spend some quality time and just be around him was just really necessary.
“ … He’s the most wonderful person I’ve ever met,” she added. “And yeah, he just makes me feel really special and he’s really special and yeah, I’m just really, really happy.”
According to Page Six, Katie’s mystery man is Sleeping With Sirens musician Nick Martin. A source told the outlet that Katie and Nick met through mutual friends in the music industry and that the pair “bonded” over their respective business ventures.
As fans of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ know, Katie and co-star Ariana Madix are the owners of the Los Angeles-based sandwich shop, Something About Her, while Nick reportedly runs a coffee company called Charlie Royal.
“Katie loves the emo music scene and has been a fan and friend of Nick’s band for some time,” a source stated. “While the pair started out as friends, things took a turn this past summer in August and their relationship developed really quickly.”
While Katie and Nick were reportedly trying to keep their relationship under wraps due to Nick currently being in the middle of a “heavy divorce” from estranged wife, Jenna Martin, the two have been openly commenting on each other’s social media posts for weeks.
Katie was previously married to Tom Schwartz, however, the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars confirmed in March 2022 that they had split after five years of marriage. The exes posted respective statements to Instagram confirming the news, with Katie telling fans she and Schwartz were ending their marriage “after 12 years on an adventure through life together,” and Schwartz revealing in his statement that it was Katie who had initiated the breakup.
“Well this sucks. How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f**kin canned Instagram caption?” Schwartz wrote. “ … Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy … .”
Katie announced her new relationship on Wednesday, October 16, which just happened to be Schwartz’s 41st birthday.
Schwartz has yet to comment on Katie’s new relationship.
