Ryan Edwards Sued By Ex Mackenzie for Back Child Support She Alleges ‘Teen Mom’ Dad “Refuses” to Pay

“Hopefully you can get this all sorted out in between cosplaying as a changed man and opening baby shower gifts with your knocked-up girlfriend on social media…”

Ryan Edwards is being sued by his soon-to-be-ex-wife Mackenzie Edwards for allegedly “refusing” to pay child support for their two children, whom Mackenzie claims are under their father’s care “zero days” out of the year.

As Teen Mom fans know, Ryan and Mack– who share six-year-old son Jagger and four-year-old daughter Stella– are in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody battle and just last month, Mack accused Ryan of not helping her to support their kids. She is now reportedly taking legal action to remedy to situation.

The story Ryan’s sticking to…probably.

In court documents obtained by The Sun, Mack notes that the court should order her ex to fulfill his child support obligations, as she has physical custody of their two children and they are with her “365 days” out of the year. The court documents also claim that Ryan is “gainfully employed,” earning more than six times what Mack does in one month.

“Because mother has physical custody of the parties’ two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent,” the court documents state.

While Mackenzie lists her monthly income as $3,000, her “good faith estimate of income” for Ryan, who appeared on the latest season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, is listed as $18,440 a month. As The Ashley recently revealed, Ryan is earning a $35,000 paycheck for each episode of ’Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ that he appears in.

The Ashley can also reveal that Ryan began working a “regular” job in August, and he now makes about $27 an hour as a diesel mechanic.

“…not to mention airing my dirty laundry on TV for a decade and a half…”

Mack is requesting the court set current child support, as well as retroactive child support back to the date of  her and Ryan’s separation.

As for how much time the kids are spending with each parent, Mackenzie stated in her filing that she has the children 365 days a year, while Ryan has them “zero days.” (The Sun previously reported that Ryan does have visits with his kids twice a month. He reportedly sees Jagger and Stella “every other Saturday at 12 pm to Sunday at 6 pm at his mom Jen’s house.”)

Despite Mack and Ryan still being legally married at this time, Ryan will soon be welcoming another kid, as he and girlfriend Amanda Conner are currently expecting their first child together. (Ryan also shares 16-year-old son Bentley with ex Maci Bookout.)

“She’s about to birth me a spawn, y’all!”

A hearing has been set for December regarding Mackenzie’s child support request; meanwhile, the former couple’s court hearing to discuss a parenting plan for Jagger and Stella was continued earlier this week to November.

  1. Totally on Mac’s side but she is capable of getting a job 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m a single mom and I work full time.

    1. Mackenzie does have a job. The article even states, “Mackenzie lists her monthly income as $3,000”. Amanda dressed up as Mackenzie for Halloween in a scrub uniform.

  2. Ryan got lucky with this one. I think Amanda is better looking than Maci and Mack. Plus, she has a good job at a rehab facility. I bet she is a receptionist or something but it’s still good. She can help other girls who are struggling with all the stuff she’s been through.

  3. I wonder if Mackenzie still has that letter she read to Macy on the TM Reunion show, where she blamed Macy for Rhines problems? It’s just really hard to feel sorry for people (Mack & Rhine) when you see them running full speed, wide eyed, ignoring all red flags, into life’s problems. Have fun you pair of ding dongs!!

  4. I think Ryan is complete trash- typical narcissist that will put his own resentments towards their mother, over his own kids well-being. If he is making THAT much a month, he should be paying something, PERIOD. Especially if she has physical custody. For him to even have to be court ordered to do that is complete crap! And I’m sorry but I don’t like Amanda either and think it’s so gross that she’s all excited about her “second chance at motherhood” when she already has one kid that she doesn’t have custody of- SMH. They both honestly make me sick. While I REALLY do hope they will stay sober at least, I just do not see them lasting and quite frankly, if he’s still that bent towards Mackenzie, then he’s still carrying a shit load of resentment and resentments take addicts out. I know- I am one. I have had to forgive a lot of people, make my amends to people I DID NOT want to make them to, I have had to do the right thing when I really didn’t think it was deserved and finish things before I start more additions in my life. They both clearly have a lot of growing up to do and responsibilities to face IMO.

  5. People having more kids when they’re not supporting the kids they already have is wild. Ryan and Company can act like he’s turned his life around, but in my book a deadbeat is even worse than a dopehead. I don’t like Mack, but she doesn’t deserve all the shit he put her through, and those innocent kids definitely don’t deserve it. Ryan is trash.

    1. They are both severely lacking in judgment. Everyone knows Rine is awful but Mac knew exactly what she was doing when she married and had children with an active addict. He should be paying support but she shouldn’t be surprised that he isn’t. Everyone told her.

      1. Mackenzie literally had an unscripted reality tv show to watch and learn about Rhine before she decided to date, marry, conceive with him. If I was Mackenzie’s mother or friend I would for sure watch the show to see what she is getting into. So either she doesn’t have good people around her or she was running her own game. I have no sympathy for her…or Rhine.

    1. Jen will surely end up coughing the money up. And that’s what Ryan is so awful. His mother babies him terribly.

  6. Of course he’s not paying, he’s a deadbeat narcissist that wants to punish her by not supporting their kids. He’s trash and he’ll always be
Btw, did he already pay for all the damages he caused to the family home and kids’ belongings?

  7. Ryan should absolutely be held accountable for paying child support. Those are his children and it’s his responsibility to help support them. However, Mack needs to stop the whole ‘he nEvEr SeEs ThEm’ bullshit because as we’ve seen in social media posts, he DOES see them/spend time with them. It may not be overnight visits, and they might be together at Larry & Jen’s, but Mack saying he’s never with those kids is a total lie. But she is the wicked witch so at least she’s keeping with that theme.

    1. I don’t even like her but in this article she didn’t say he “doesn’t see them”, she said that she has physical custody and the kids are with her 365 days of the year and that’s true.

      1. I guess I misinterpreted that when I read the sentence above that says, ‘ whom Mackenzie claims are with their father “zero days” out of the year.

          1. Not defending Ryan, but it says the kids are at Jen and Larry’s from noon on Saturday to 6pm on Sunday; so they’re there a day and a half. But Mack has them on Saturday before they go there and gets them back on Sunday evening, so she truly does have them *every* day.

    2. Have you ever seen Ryan take care of any of his kids though? I cant really remember him doing much for any of his kids. Their mom’s or his mom are the ones who actually take care of the kids.
