Kail Lowry Releases First Episode of New Podcast with Becky Hayter; Addresses Fans Who Criticized Her For Trying to “Replace” Vee Torres with Becky

“Y’all can make like Javi’s car when I got in it at the Wawa and BOUNCE! Becky’s here to stay!”

Kail Lowry debuted her latest podcast this week, while also addressing fans who are upset about the way Kail handled the end of her previous podcastBaby Mamas No Drama, which she used to co-host with Vee Torres, whom she has since fallen out with.

As The Ashley previously reported, the former Teen Mom 2 star announced last week that her podcast with Vee was ending. Kail and Vee— who is the wife of Kail’s first baby daddy Jo Rivera— had seemingly been feuding for a while before coming to the decision to end their joint podcast. Just one day after announcing the end of Baby Mamas No Drama, Kail revealed that would be filling its spot with a new podcast— Karma & Chaos— which she’d be hosting with her formerly estranged friend Becky Hayter.

Fans of Baby Mamas (and Vee) took particular offense to the way Kail handled the situation, loudly criticizing her online for taking the official Baby Mamas No Drama Facebook group and changing its name to the Karma & Chaos Podcast Facebook Group, essentially taking ownership of the entire fanbase that Vee and Kail had grown together.

On the first episode of Karma & Chaos, which was released on Tuesday, Kail explained that she did not launch her new podcast so quickly to spite Vee, despite how it looked to some Baby Mamas fans.

Kail, trying to figure out if she can place a sticker with her new podcast’s name over the Baby Mamas No Drama logo on all the unsold merch…

“I hope that now you understand that this was not a podcast to step on anyone’s toes,” Kail said. “Or to smack in Vee’s face, that’s not what this was about at all. So, I hope that you guys understand that.”

Kail claimed that she rushed to begin her podcast with Becky so that she could fulfill “contractual obligations” she had already committed to. (She did not go into further detail about what those obligations actually required, though.)

“Becky and I originally were not starting this podcast until 2025,” Kail said. “So, just to clarify that whole part of this entire thing. I was personally faced with contractual obligations that still needed to be fulfilled, so Becky and I basically jumped right into it, instead of starting in 2025. We had to start in two weeks, so we had to quickly come up with the name.”

Vee, on Kail somehow managing to fit the word “chaos” into the name of everything she creates…probably.

Becky— who appeared on many episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ before she and Kail stopped talking five years ago — asked Vee’s fans to give her a chance.

“I know there’s a lot of hesitation about me coming in, I know there is people upset,” Becky said. “You guys are going to mourn this loss [of Vee and their podcast] in some capacity, and we had no ill intentions of just coming in and kind of replacing it, so I just want to make sure people understand that your feelings are so validated in feeling some type of discomfort in change and discomfort in the chaos of how this all unfolded.”

On Monday, the official Facebook page for Baby Mamas No Drama announced to its followers that it would be converted to a fanpage for Kail and Becky’s new podcast. The news did not go over well with fans, many of whom voiced their anger that Kail took over the page, which was built by both her and Vee.

“Don’t you realize fans need a moment to grieve the end of such an impactful show,” one person wrote. “Most of us are also in shock that Kail is just jumping in with someone that she wasn’t talking to a couple months ago. Jeeze.”

“Vee helped create this and to slap another name on it and benefit off of that is just tacky,” another person commented.

In the comment section of the post, Kail responded to a fan who called her decision “tacky.” She stated that Vee agreed to give Kail everything related to the podcast.

“This was a business decision that we made when we decided to end the podcast,” Kail wrote. “Vee signed everything over and wanted everything out of her name and likeness.”

In her original announcement, Kail stated that she and Vee were never “friends” but actually just co-hosts and co-parents. In the comment section of the new post, Kail defended her statement.

“It seems so sneaky and it so sad how Kail kept saying her and vee aren’t friends,” one person wrote. “This makes me wonder how true it is that all her friends leave her when she just left Vee like that.”

“These were conversations we were having off the podcast,” Kail responded. “I understand why others are shocked, but this wasn’t news to Vee. We had been saying this for a long time.”

“Changing the name on here is a business decision & if anyone decides not to support that, I understand and you’re more than welcome to follow Vee over [over on her other podcast] Vibin & Kinda Thrivin,” Kail added.

New episodes of the Karma & Chaos podcast will be available every Tuesday.

The podcast we’re all waiting for….

  1. Yes, because I’m going to sit here and happily eat the lines of bullshit that Kail feeds us, knowing she’s the biggest fucking liar next to Juhnelle.
