Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa are ready to flip more houses.
The couple is returning to HGTV on Dec. 26 with the premier of season two of The Flipping El Moussas, Warner Bros. Discovery announced Wednesday. “Tarek and Heather Rae will face a wildly tumultuous year of flipping in Southern California due to high interest rates and severely limited inventory, forcing them to select the nastiest houses full of unspeakable filth to keep their business on track,” the company shared in a press release.
“Unexpected obstacles, including a broken arm for Tarek and a house that’s vandalized mid-renovation, will bring even more stress to the duo,” the press release continued. “With more flips under her belt, Heather Rae will grow more confident in her design abilities, and Tarek will continue the family tradition when he teaches oldest son Brayden all about flipping, including using his allowance to invest in his first property.”
Season one aired in spring 2023. Season two was originally slated to air at the beginning of this year, as The Ashley reported. No reason has been given for the delay, though filming of the new series The Flip Off with Tarek’s former wife and co-star Christina Haack and her now-estranged husband Josh Hall could have contributed. That show is due to start airing early next year, likely without Josh.
In ‘The Flipping El Moussas,’ Tarek and Heather Rae will take on what Warner Bros. Discovery describes as “SoCal’s nastiest homes.”
“The season will kick off in Hawthorne, California, where Tarek and Heather Rae tackle their most extreme flip project to date,” the company shared in its press release. “With a herculean effort, the couple will face years of muck and multiple construction setbacks to turn the trashy bungalow into a highly desirable home that hopefully delivers a strong return on their investment.”
