Jax Taylor may be the “No. 1 Guy in the Group,” but he definitely isn’t the “No. 1 Driver on the Road.”
According to TMZ, The Valley star hit a vehicle while in traffic Wednesday in Los Angeles and ended up leaving the scene before exchanging information with the driver of the other car.
The outlet claims that on Thursday, a woman posted to the Nextdoor app that her boyfriend was stopped at a red light Wednesday in Valley Village when a pickup truck ran into the back of his car. The woman’s boyfriend allegedly “chased” the truck– driven by Jax– to a nearby gas station, where a paparazzo ended up recording (and photographing) Jax seemingly speaking to the man after the accident.
In the video, Jax and the man are shown looking at the back of the vehicle that was hit, with Jax then getting into his truck and driving away. The paparazzo proceeded to confront the driver of the car that Jax hit, asking him if “that guy [had] just [done] a hit and run” on him, to which the driver of the vehicle nodded “yes.”
The driver confirmed that he didn’t know who the driver of the truck was, claiming the man “wouldn’t give me any of his info.”
While photos of the other vehicle didn’t appear to show any significant damage, sources told TMZ that the driver of the vehicle went to the police station to file a report, but was told to file the report online. (It’s unclear if the driver has done so.)
In a statement to the outlet, Jax’s rep claimed there was an “unpleasant interaction” between the other driver and the former Vanderpump Rules star after the fender bender.
“Jax was involved in what he believed to be a minor fender bender yesterday afternoon when his vehicle bumped into the rear end of the car in front of him while at a red light,” the rep stated. “The driver immediately stepped out of his vehicle, enraged, which caused an unpleasant interaction between both parties.”
The rep went on to explain that, after seeing no visible damage to either car and no apparent injuries, Jax proceeded to leave the scene.
“Since this altercation, Jax has filed a claim with his insurance company to investigate further into the details and will follow the recommendations provided by his insurance company,” the rep continued.
In an alleged screenshot of the Nextdoor post that was shared to Reddit this week, the girlfriend of the driver said her boyfriend described Jax as “erratic and belligerent” after the incident, claiming that Jax insisted the vehicle he hit was fine, despite the trunk reportedly being misaligned and there being visible damage to the bumper. The girlfriend also claimed that her boyfriend went to urgent care after the accident because “he has pretty bad whiplash and a sore neck and back,” however, urgent care did not require her boyfriend to undergo any imaging for his alleged injuries.
The girlfriend told TMZ that her boyfriend has photos of the damage done to his vehicle, as well as a photo of Jax’s license plate, claiming she and her boyfriend plan to hold the Bravo star accountable for the incident.
The day after his alleged fender bender, Jax was approached by TMZ while leaving a store. When asked about Wednesday’s accident, Jax offered no comment before jumping onto a motorized scooter and riding away.

Jax has not commented on the incident on social media, nor has his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
As The Ashley previously told you, Brittany filed for divorce in August, shortly after Jax returned from spending nearly a month in a mental heath facility, where he received inpatient mental health treatment and was ultimately diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD.
