‘Unexpected’ Star Jenna Ronan Reveals the Insane Amount of Money She Earns Each Month From TikTok

“I’m rollin’ in the cash!”

Jenna Ronan is cashing in– big time!— on her post-teen-pregnancy life.

The star of TLC‘s Unexpected recently gave an interview to Teen Vogue discussing how much money she’s raking in from showing her life as a young mom on TikTok…and the numbers are quite, um, unexpected. (Pun very much intended.)

Jenna— who first appeared on the reality show when she was 16 and pregnant with her son Luca—told the magazine that, before making money on TikTok, she was forced to rely on Luca’s father for money. (As fans of the show will remember, Luca’s dad is Aden Albright, who once bragged on-air that he had tricked Jenna into not taking birth control by telling her that girls can only get pregnant by guys who are “ogulating.”)

“[That was] uncomfortable,” Jenna told the magazine. “It was really hard for me to be financially dependent on a man, and that relationship was not good…”

Jenna and Aden broke up in 2021, and Jenna began getting brand deals on social media. She told the magazine that, after receiving her first brand deal with a company that checks fertility hormone levels, she moved into her own apartment with Luca.

“Shockingly, the company declined my offer to explain to their customers how ‘ogulating’ works.”

“It’s given me a lot of independence. And I’m good to not be tied to anybody, but I can still be home with my children, which is what is important to me,” she said.

A glance at Jenna’s TikTok account shows the ‘Unexpected’ star doing promos for all types of brands— selling everything from cosmetics, to parenting products to food items. She also posts videos about her everyday life.

Jenna told Teen Vogue that she now earns a whopping $15,000 and $20,000 a month from social media. She stated that, without that income, she’d probably be working a minimum-wage job right now and still living at home with her dad.

“I’m proud of myself,” Jenna told her nearly 250,000 TikTok followers in a video posted on Thursday about the Teen Vogue article.

Now, Jenna says she and her fiancé, JJ Della— whom she welcomed her second son, Jimmy, with last year— are considering purchasing a home together, thanks to the income she rakes in online. She told the magazine that she knows a lot of her followers aren’t there for the “right reasons.”

  1. Last I read Jenna and her fiancé were ex’s and completely trashing each other online. I’ve never been a fan of Jenna. She always came across as a spoiled entitled brat. The one thing I can say (especially compared to other mom’s of this franchise) she seems to be a good mom to her kids.

  2. Yet another post ruined because it was not checked before you clicked post. I love the Ashley snark but it is lacking when the piece is riddled with errors. Check the title. Hire a proofreader.
