‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars James Kennedy & Ally Lewber Spending Time Apart Following James’ Domestic Violence Arrest; Ally Moves Out of Couple’s Home

Trigger Warning: This article contains descriptions of domestic violence.

James Kennedy and girlfriend Ally Lewber are spending time apart following James’ recent arrest for domestic violence, TMZ reports.

In photos taken by the outlet, James was seen helping Ally load items– including a laundry hamper and suitcase– into her car outside of the couple’s Burbank, California, residence.

According to the outlet, while the former Vanderpump Rules stars remain in a relationship, Ally has temporarily moved out of the home she and James share and into a nearby Airbnb. Ally’s family, who came to town to support her following last week’s incident, are reportedly joining her at the rental.

A source also claimed that the astrologer is planning to spend the upcoming holidays in Ohio with her family, though it’s unclear if James will be joining her.

As The Ashley told you last week, James was arrested the night of December 10 for misdemeanor domestic violence after police were called to a home in Burbank on a report that the DJ was arguing with a woman. In the arrest log obtained by The Ashley, it was alleged that a “female stated her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.”

James Kennedy’s arrest record…

While Ally hasn’t confirmed that she was involved in the domestic violence incident that led to James’ arrest, she is believed to be the spouse/co-habitant described in the arrest log.

Days after James’ arrest, Ally took to her Instagram Story to let followers know how she was doing following the incident.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote. “I’m okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”

Despite the details revealed in the arrest log, James’ lawyers have seemingly downplayed the seriousness of the alleged abuse that occurred, insisting they are conducting their own investigation into the allegations being made against James.

“We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges,” attorneys Scott Leemon and Leonard Levine said in a statement released Friday.

A previous story posted to TMZ stated that a source close to the couple called the domestic incident “a misunderstanding.” James’ former fiancé, Rachel Leviss, used that headline to seemingly warn Ally that she, too, endured “misunderstandings” during her time with James.

She posted a screenshot of the headline to her Instagram Stories, along with the message, “The amount of times I convinced myself that the abuse I endured by James Kennedy Georgiou was a ‘misunderstanding’ is sickening.”

Fans are also trying to warn Ally to get out of her relationship with the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star. The comment section of Ally’s most-recent Instagram post is flooded with messages from concerned people.

“Don’t stay with him. This is a pattern and he will not change,” someone wrote.

“Him picking you up and throwing you to the ground is far from a small misunderstanding, girl,” another person commented. “Get out while you still can.”

“If James hurt you, we ride at dawn,” someone else wrote.
