Lydia Plath is getting hitched!
The 20-year-old Welcome to Plathville star revealed Monday on social media that she and her boyfriend Zac Wyse are engaged to be married.
“A million reasons to say YES to the love of my life!” Lydia wrote on Instagram. “🥹❤️💍 @zaclwyse you’re a gift from the Lord! 🤍 You’ve been so patient with me and you’ve led in such a humble and giving way.
“The way you care for not only me, but for my family, my friends and everyone you come across in such an intentional way is a rare gem to find,” she continued. “And the ways I’ve seen the Lord work in and through our relationship has been such a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to experience that with you forever!❤️ I love you so much❤️ And I’m so blessed to call you mine❤️.”
Zac also shared the engagement news to his Instagram, calling Lydia “the love of my life.”
“ … You make me better in ways I never knew possible,” his caption read. “You push me closer to the Lord every day and I can’t wait to see what else the Lord has in store for us!”
Zac’s post also included a shout out to his future wife’s family and friends.
“Thanks to the Plath family and everyone else who made this whole thing possible!” he wrote. “We were able to pull off the most elaborate surprise for her and it really made this day so special for us!”
Lydia and Zac confirmed the news of their engagement to People, with Lydia recalling the moment she said “yes.”
“The moment we were in each other’s arms we were overwhelmed with all the emotions that led us to this moment where all we could feel was pure joy for the commitment we were about to make,” she told the outlet.
As The Ashley previously told you, Lydia– the fifth oldest child of Kim and Barry Plath– hard launched her relationship with Zac in November after months of dropping hints to fans on social media.
While it’s unclear when Lydia and Zac officially began dating, Lydia has been sharing posts to social media documenting her travels to Colorado– the state where Zac resides– since August.
According to Lydia and Zac’s wedding website, first reported by Starcasm, the couple will say “I do” on February 22 in Whigham, Georgia, where Lydia’s family property is located. The website also reveals that Lydia and Zac will be exchanging their vows in a ceremony “outside under the trees.”
As for wedding gifts, Lydia and Zac’s registry includes various items ranging from a $15 bamboo cutting board to a $325 Yeti backpack cooler. The future Mr. and Mrs. also have an option on their registry where guests can donate to their honeymoon fund.
