It’s about time to send it again.
Earlier this week Bravo released the first trailer for the ninth season of Summer House and announced the show– which had record viewership last year thanks to the on-camera demise of the relationship between longtime cast members Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke— is coming back on February 12.
Though nearly a year has passed on the show since Carl called off his engagement to Lindsay, and despite her expecting a baby with her new boyfriend (a little girl born earlier this month), the former best-friends-turned-lovebirds are still battling in Season 9.
In the trailer, Lindsay seems to be accusing Carl of being unfaithful during their relationship, saying, “You’ve been talking to this girl since before we broke up.”
While dealing with the wreckage of her past relationship, Lindsay is shown facing tough questions from friends about the state of her current one.
“You don’t live together?” Danielle Olivera, who left the show after last season, asks. “I don’t want it to feel like you’re single-momming this up.”
The summer’s looking tough for other couples in the house. Influencer and podcaster Paige DeSorbo and her Southern Charm beau Craig Conover are shown in the trailer having a discussion about the priority her work is taking over their time together. Later on, Paige confides to Ciara Miller, “Me and Craig are going to break up and everything I have will go away.”
A year after the end of her in-house romance with writer West Wilson, Ciara’s getting caught in more relationship drama this season, this time coming in the middle of a potential fling between finance bro Jesse Solomon and new housemate Lexi Wood, a model who’s dated Brooklyn Beckham and Presley Gerber, according to Bravo.
“I don’t trust her, I’m sorry, I don’t trust you,” Lexi tells Ciara after claiming the former nurse had been flirting with Jesse.
Married life isn’t getting any easier for entrepreneur Kyle Cooke and designer Amanda Batula, per the trailer. Once again at odds with his wife’s friends for prioritizing work and partying over his relationship, Kyle is shown fighting with Paige, who says of the Loverboy CEO-turned-DJ, “The only reason I came here tonight was so that someone kept his wife company while he pretends to be Diplo.”
More love and heartache are surely in store for the Hamptons crew with Season 9 addition Imrul Hassan, a real estate broker, admitting to having multiple hookups in one day and Carl confessing to his friends that he hasn’t been with anyone since breaking up with Lindsay.
‘Summer House’ fans can tune in to see if fashion director Gabby Prescod finally meets her Mr. Right and if West can be rehabilitated after choosing the life of a single Bravolebrity over commitment to Ciara.
The ninth season also promises theme parties, drunken antics, storm outs, a cameo from former Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz and everything else this group of New Yorkers has become known for.
New episodes of ‘Summer House’ will air Wednesdays on Bravo and the next day on Peacock beginning February 12. No word yet if Peacock will air an after-show as it did last season.
