Liz Woods is opening up about the scary medical crisis she’s been going through.
The 90 Day Fiance star— whose off-and-on (and on- and on-) again relationship with Big Ed Brown finally ended in an episode that aired in April– recently confirmed that she has been fighting cancer. Earlier this week, Liz– who had been the subject of rumors recently on The Interwebs— took to the comment section of the @ShaBootyDotCom Instagram account to confirm the diagnosis. She later addressed her appearance— which has changed significantly in the last year— and weight loss, which she stated was partly due to the effects of her chemotherapy treatments.
“Does Liz have cancer?” one fan wrote in the comment section of @ShaBootyDotCom‘s post showing a pic of Liz from a year ago.
“I’m going through treatment for it,” Liz— who did not reveal what type of cancer she has— responded.

A few weeks back, Liz posted a photo of herself to Instagram at a holiday run. In the caption, she mentioned that she had just finished undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
“In this last week I was promoted at work, finished my last round of chemo, and accomplished my first run within the last 6 months. Blessed,” Liz wrote on December 21.

On Thursday, Liz posted her workout/meal plan, implying that she began a weight-loss journey before she began her cancer treatment. She also revealed that she lost 17 lbs. during treatment.
“I started my weight-loss over a year ago Dec 10 of 2023. I went from 170 to 125 & then from 125 to 108 from being sick and going through chemo. Those last 17 lbs. were not a healthy time for me and not a part of any program,” Liz wrote.
A few days ago, Liz hit back at a nay-sayer who commented on Instagram that her current body is “too skinny.”
“It’s actually perfect, thank you very much,” she wrote in response. “My body has been through depression, which made me gain an uncontrollable amount of weight, treated me well during my own weight loss journey and then endured 14 rounds of chemo.”
(Liz has stated on social media that she gained over 40 pounds during her time with Big Ed on the show.)

Ed has not yet commented on Liz’s medical issues, but it’s not surprising, given that, several months ago, Liz shared in an Instagram comment that she blocked Ed from contacting her shortly after the filmed the final Tell-All.
“There was no point of leaving New York trying to remain friends like we thought we could be, even with all the history and being a part of the show,” she wrote. “Things were said off-camera that were really not cool and I received an inappropriate text so blocked and I’m never looking back… I’ve def moved on we got our closure I’m in a better place and the happiest I’ve ever been.”

I’m sure sorry that she’s had to go through all that. I always thought she wasted too much of her time on Ed. Best wishes for her recovery.
Yeah. I think she had serious self esteem issues. No young girl would date Pred if they were in a healthy place mentally. I’m glad she’s free of him and free of cancer.
