Myrka Cantu of Unexpected Season 4 is now a mom of three.
The 20-year-old former TLC star announced last week on Instagram that she and husband Juan Castillo welcomed a son, whom they named Alejandro Uriel.
“My beautiful boy,” Myrka wrote in the caption of her post.
(Myrka made sure to not include any photos of Alejandro’s face in the images she shared. As her fans know, Myrka keeps images and videos of her children off of social media, often opting to cover her children’s faces with an emoji.)
Myrka and Juan previously welcomed daughter Axelia together in early 2023 and, as fans of ‘Unexpected’ may remember, Myrka also shares daughter Attalie with her ex Ethan Ybarra.
While Myrka and Ethan’s relationship ultimately didn’t last, Myrka’s mom Liliana shared on social media in 2022 that she and her husband definitely approve of Myrka’s second baby daddy Juan.
“The boy came to our house spoke to both my husband and I, we have seen him around Attalie and we have nothing but good things to say about him,” she stated.
Liliana also noted at the time that Myrka and Juan were working, attending school and “have solid career plans.”
“ … [They] have our support as well as his family’s support,” she said. “Yes, we never know what the future holds, and we all wish they waited till they were in a better financial position, but it is what it is and I am here enjoying my family, that includes him.
“We are happy, we are all learning as we go to be more tolerant and my daughter knows that no matter what I will always be here for her,” Liliana continued, adding that her “heart is full” over the news of her growing family, despite her initial concern.
Myrka’s mom seemingly remains supportive of her daughter’s relationship with Juan, as she was photographed attending the couple’s gender reveal for baby Alejandro in July.
According to Starcasm, Myrka’s first baby daddy currently lives in California. Last year, the former ‘Unexpected’ dad found himself in trouble with the law after allegedly stealing a tip jar from a marijuana dispensary.
Ethan was charged with robbery and battery for the crime, with the police report stating that the “weapon” Ethan used in the alleged robbery was his hands.
Ethan and Myrka also went through a tumultuous breakup and lengthy custody battle that was reportedly finalized in April 2023. Per the agreement, Myrka retained primary custody of Attalie, while Ethan was granted visitation every first, third and fifth weekend (in the afternoon), and on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month for an hour in the evening. Ethan was also ordered to pay child and medical support for Attalie.
