The Robertson Family is returning to TV!
A&E has announced that Duck Dynasty– the hit series starring the Robertson Family that aired from 2012 to 2017– will return to TV this summer as Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
“Quack, Quack! #DuckDynasty is BACK with #DuckDynasty: The Revival!” A&E announced Tuesday on social media. “Join Willie, Korie, and their growing family as they plan the future of Duck Commander and pass down their legacy. Don’t miss the fun–SUMMER 2025 on @AETV!”
As fans of ‘Duck Dynasty’ remember, the OG series followed members of the Robertson family and their family business, Duck Commander. According to People, many fan favorites from the original series will return for ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival,’ including Willie Robertson and wife Korie, as well as their children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca and their growing families. Miss Kay, Uncle Si and others are also set to return for the new series.
“With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,” the logline for the upcoming series reads.
This week, Sadie teased the upcoming reboot on social media, telling fans that her family “is going back home to A&E with #DuckDynasty: The Revival.”
“It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same,” Sadie captioned her video. “New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun… ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)!
“Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another,” she continued. “Our prayer as a family is and always has been that we are bright lights for His Glory. We’re SO glad to be back! Stay tuned!”
Rebecca also shared the news of the reboot on social media, telling fans the series “is coming soon” after months of filming “and years of planning.”
“ … we can’t believe we’re back to share our lives with you ON TV!” Rebecca wrote. “And this time, it’s the whole family–even the tiniest members! How fun is that?!”
As The Ashley told you last month, Willie shared on an episode of The Tucker Carlson Show that he and his family were “getting back in production” for a reboot that he described as “the next generation of ‘Duck Dynasty.’”
“ … The cast has grown up and then everyone else is still around,” Willie said of the family’s return to TV. “So, back with A&E, we met and they said, ‘Hey, you guys interested in kind of redoing the show?’ And [we] felt like the time was right … met with the family, prayed about it, and said, ‘Yeah, I think so.’
“The kids were excited,” he added.
Shortly after it was revealed last year that ‘Duck Dynasty’ would be returning to TV with a reboot in the near future, Willie’s brother Jase Robertson shared that their father, Phil Robertson, had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and was “really struggling” with his health.
While Phil’s wife, Miss Kay, is set to return for the upcoming reboot, it does not appear that Phil will join her, presumably due to his declining health.
‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’ premieres this summer on A&E. The network has reportedly ordered 20 one-hour episodes or two seasons.
