Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are trying their hand at podcasting.
The Teen Mom stars announced on Wednesday that they are starting the Cate & Ty Break It Down! podcast, under Kail Lowry’s KILLR Podcast Network.
Tyler posted about their new venture on social media.
“We can’t wait to share more of our lives with you all who have been so supportive of us for the past 16 years!” he wrote.
Tyler hinted last fall that a podcast about the realities of adoption was in the works for him and Catelynn. However, according to the official podcast description, Cate & Ty Break It Down! will also cover other topics.

Kail took to Instagram Stories to announce that “my former co-stars and my friends, Catelynn and Tyler, are officially signed to KILLR Network.
“This has been in the works for a really long time,” Kail said. “And it’s really, really exciting that we get to launch it now.”
“Get ready for an honest, raw, and real conversation about life in your 30s, marriage, friends, family, and everything in between,” KILLR’s description of the podcast reads. “It’s everything you’ve been waiting for, from the couple you’ve followed for years!”
Fans suspected that Cate and Ty were being brought into Kail’s podcasting network when the couple were featured in several videos with Kail, her podcasting partners, and Maci Bookout.
Back in September, Catelynn and Tyler were frequently online airing out their frustrations with Brandon and Teresa Davis, the parents of Cate and Ty’s biological daughter, Carly. After Brandon and Teresa cut off contact with the couple without an explanation, Catelynn and Tyler made it clear that they were unhappy with the Davis’ decision to restrict their access to Carly. The ‘Teen Mom’ stars also blasted the concept of adoption in general, revealing the trauma they and other bio parents experienced after placing a child for adoption.
During one of his Lives, Tyler stated that he and Catelynn would be tackling the topic of adoption on an upcoming podcast.
Although this is Catelynn and Tyler’s first time doing a podcast, nearly all of their ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars have had a podcast at one time or another. Kail is the host of three podcasts, and Mackenzie Douthit had a short-lived (and poorly named) podcast called Mack: Raw & Unfiltered in 2018.
Cheyenne Floyd currently co-hosts a podcast called Think Loud Crew, while Maci currently co-hosts a true crime podcast called The Expired Podcast.
Jenelle Evans attempted (and failed absolutely miserably) at launching her Jenelle Evans Podcast. (#NeverForget that one episode legit featured Jenelle burping alongside her then-husband David Eason, who discussed “hot topics” like his sweat output. No, seriously…)
Other failed attempts at ‘Teen Mom’ podcast include Ashley Jones and her then-husband Bar Smith doing the Higher Thinking podcast; and Leah Messer‘s Life Reboot podcast, which she co-hosted in 2018. (The “transformational” podcast mysteriously disappeared around 2019, though.)
Amber Portwood remains one of the only ‘Teen Mom’ cast members who hasn’t tried doing a podcast. (However, given the trouble her recent appearances on TikTok Live have caused, it’s probably a good thing that the couch enthusiast hasn’t been given an open mic.)
Anyway, Cate & Ty Break It Down! is scheduled to premiere in February.

Another podcast? I don’t have enough hours in a day. Some sound interesting but seriously can anyone tell me how people have time to listen to all these podcasts?

Why did it sound like they were trying very very hard to enunciate every single word they said?! It was weird! They didn’t even sound like themselves.. I wish them luck with it but personally I don’t think I could listen to that for an hour once, much less every week.
After the things they said about Brandon and Theresa and the pain she has caused Carly I have lost all respect for them and hope Karma catches up with them!
How is this not a violation of their MTV contracts? It’s definitely a violation of my ears.
