Nany González and Kaycee Clark have called it quits, more than a year after The Challenge stars announced they were engaged to be married. 

After weeks of fans speculating on social media that Nany and Kaycee may have ended their relationship– partly due to Nany deleting nearly every post from her Instagram grid earlier this month– the pair confirmed the rumors on social media over the weekend.

“After a lot of reflection, Kaycee and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Nany shared to her Instagram Story. “This definitely wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for the both of us.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way– we’re both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts & we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time. Love, Nany & Kaycee.” 

Kaycee shared a nearly identical statement to her own Instagram Story, in which she also opted not to disclose the reason behind her and Nany’s split. (She did, however, post a video to her Story showing her moving out.)

Nany and Kaycee met during 2020’s The Challenge: Total Madness, during which Nany expressed an interest in Kaycee, who was in a relationship with model Tayler Jimenez at the time. Nany and Kaycee ended up growing closer as friends throughout the season, much to Tayler’s dismay, as she and Kaycee went on to break up. (Tayler later took to X to reveal that she and Kaycee called it quits because she had discovered “inappropriate” text messages between Kaycee and Nany– whom she referred to as “that woman”– while Tayler and Kaycee were still dating.) 

Nany and Kaycee went on to appear on The Challenge: Double Agents followed by The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies. During the ‘Spies, Lies & Allies’ season, fans watched the pair’s romance play out onscreen, with Kaycee even surprising Nany with a romantic date with the help of their cast members. 

“I’ve done a lot of ‘Challenges’ and I feel like I leave every experience with something,” Nany said at the ‘Spies, Lies & Allies’ Reunion. “This time around, I left with her. I’m just so happy. She’s my best friend. Kaycee’s the love of my life.”

As The Ashley previously told you, Nany popped the question to Kaycee in September 2023 with a surprise beachside proposal. 

“From the moment I met this woman, I knew that she was someone special,” Nany shared on Instagram at the time. “Our paths crossed in the most unexpected way, and I am forever grateful for that chance encounter. My heart is full of love and gratitude for the joy you have brought into my life, Kaycee Noelle. 

“Our love is unconditional, a love that is meant to last a lifetime, and I am blessed to spend the rest of my days growing old and loving you every step of the way … ,” she added

Throughout their relationship, Nany and Kaycee discussed plans to start a family in the future, with Nany stating on the red carpet of the 2022 MTV VMAs that they wanted to “be smart about it.” 

“The next step, obviously, would be marriage,” Kaycee added. “And then, of course, after that would be [having] children and that, obviously, would, you know, come with IVF and all of that. So that’s definitely something that we’re going to look into eventually and we’re super excited about just our future together.” 

Currently, Nany and Kaycee are still following each other on social media.
