There’s been a breakup in the Bush.
Alaskan Bush People stars Noah and Rhain Brown announced on Tuesday that they are no longer together. The split comes after six years of marriage and two kids.
The couple revealed their breakup news via a video posted to Noah’s TikTok account. In the video, Noah and Rhain both appear and explain to their fans that they are no longer together, and that Noah has moved out of the family home at Rhain’s request.
“We just wanted you to hear this from us, instead of from somewhere else,” Noah began. “Rhain and I have decided that it is in our best interest to separate. We’re gonna take a break for a while, and we’re no longer together.”

Noah stated that Rhain asked him to move out of their shared home “a bit ago” so he has been staying in their guest cabin. While he got the boot from the family home, Noah said he still gets to see his kids, Eli and Adam.
“I get them on the weekends, and I can stop by [the main house] if I message first and make sure it’s OK if I see them and everything,” Noah said.
Rhain sat silently through the beginning of the video, staring wide-eyed into the camera. Later, though, she told fans that she and Noah need distance between them.
“We just have a lot to work through and that’s it, basically,” she said, before letting fans know there would be no online brawls between her and Noah.
“We’re not here to bash each other. We are working through this cordially,” Rhain said. “We’re working through it together…but right now, we agree that it’s best if we’re separated.”
Noah stated that they are considering going to couples’ counseling.
“It doesn’t seem like anything else is helping,” Rhain said curtly.
At one point, Noah seemed to be near tears, but promised his fans that they’d keep them updated on the relationship. Rhain, on the other hand, made it clear that she has no intention of publicly discussing their relationship issues again.
“I personally will not keep anybody updated!” Rhain shot back.
The comment section of Noah’s TikTok video was filled with fans who noticed that Rhain didn’t appear to be as unhappy about the split as Noah was. Fans also noticed how uncomfortable the video was to watch.
“Yup! She’s just sitting there with the I’M SPECIAL look on her face. And he is heartbroken,” one person wrote. “Looks like she forced him to do this.”
“This whole video is so bizarre,” someone else commented.
“The way he still has his ring on and she doesn’t, says everything!” another person wrote.
“He looks devastated and she looks like she could care less,” someone else wrote.
“Something is very off here,” another person responded.
As ‘Alaskan Bush People’ fans will remember, Noah and Rhain got married in Idaho in August 2018. The couple had a very “normal” wedding (by ‘Bush’ standards, anyway), with Noah and Rhain saying “I do” in front of about 25 guests, which included Noah’s parents, Billy and Ami Brown, and his siblings. (Billy— who died in 2021— served as his best man.)
Noah and Rhain welcomed their first son, Eli, in February 2019, and a second son, Adam, in October 2021.
In a follow-up video posted to TikTok on Tuesday, Noah came on-camera solo to inform his fans that Rhain will no longer allow him to post their sons in his TikTok videos.
“So I won’t be able to show them again on TikTok,” he said in the video, which he hashtagged “heartbroken #regret #alone #lost #depression”

The breakup of his marriage is just the latest family-related issue Noah has had recently. Back in August, Noah (as well as Rhain) filed for a restraining order against Noah’s younger sister Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop, aka Rain. The couple accused Rain of “stalking” them, noting in the petition that there was a “threat of violence including malicious and intentional threat or presence of firearm/weapon causing substantial emotional distress.”
In December, their petition for the restraining order was denied by a Washington court.
Anyway, as of press time, it does not appear that Noah and Rhain have officially filed for divorce.
