Ryan Edwards says his soon-to-be ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer sold his stuff, and he wants a judge to punish her for it!
The Sun broke the news Thursday that the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter dad is demanding that the judge handing his and Mackenzie’s divorce case charge Mack with contempt, due to Ryan believing that Mackenzie sold a bunch of his property out from under him, despite a court order in place forbidding both parties from doing so until the divorce is settled.
According to a motion filed by Ryan’s lawyer on January 23, Ryan believes Mackenzie sold (or got rid of) items that had “significant monetary and/or sentimental value” to Ryan. The ‘Teen Mom’ star listed these items as a car jack, kayak, jet ski, lawnmower, hunting rifle, sectional couch, race car/motor/transmission and various tools, including a plasma cutter, two welders, generator, pressure washer and other stuff.
Mackenzie “intentionally, willfully and/or maliciously disposed of the following marital property,” the motion filed by Ryan claims. “[Mackenzie] made no attempt to discuss the sale, gift or transfer of these assets with [Ryan or Ryan’s] counsel.”
As The Ashley has previously reported, Ryan and Mackenzie are in the middle of a very nasty divorce and custody battle over their kids, Jagger and Stella. The exes are currently not allowed to be near each other, due to a restraining order. They are also forbidden from “transferring, assigning, borrowing against, concealing or in any way dissipating, without the consent of the other party or an order of the court, of any marital property” until their divorce is finalized.
Because of this, Ryan wants Mackenzie held in contempt, meaning she would face jail time and/or fines. According to Ryan, he wants his ex “sanctioned and punished for her intentional willful conduct.”
(In order for this to happen, though, Ryan would need to prove that Mackenzie no longer has the items he claims she disposed of.)
The Ashley can reveal that Ryan and Mackenzie are scheduled to go to court on Monday to discuss Ryan’s motion. However, they will also be discussing the temporary child support that Mackenzie claims Ryan owes her and has refused to pay. (In addition to the $30,000+ Ryan makes per episode of ‘Next Chapter’ he appears on, he also works a “regular” job as a mechanic.)
“Because mother has physical custody of the parties’ two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent,” the paperwork filed by Mackenzie last year reads, with Mack listing her monthly income as $3,000. She estimated Ryan’s monthly income to be around $18,440. She also stated that the two kids are with her 365 days a year, while they’re with Ryan “zero days.”
Mackenzie asked the court to set current child support and retroactive child support back to the date of separation.

Monday will not be the last time that Ryan and Mackenzie meet in court. As The Ashley previously told you, the exes were unable to agree on divorce/custody terms during their mediation session last month, so their case will now be moving to trial. According to The Ashley’s sources, “Ryan and Mackenzie agreed on everything…except how Ryan’s girlfriend Amanda [Conner] would be worked into the kids’ lives. That was the dealbreaker.”
Ryan and Amanda— who recently got engaged— are expecting their first child together, a girl, next month.

That is ridiculous- He makes $18K+ a MONTH and can’t pay child support when he doesn’t have them at all and she’s only making $3K?! I hope the judge doesn’t give a rats ass about her selling ANYTHING, sentimental or not, and actually advises her to sell his things in order to actually receive the money that she is owed for raising their kids basically on her own! Not to mention- even if he earns less than the estimated $18K a month, SHE has them ALL the time and he needs to help her financially. That’s complete BS. Not to mention, he probably owes her WAY more than the money she may have gotten for allegedly selling his crap, for completely trashing the home his kids live in. And to echo others- how does anyone even know that Mack had those items in her custody (?)? Ryan was so twacked out of his mind that for all anyone knows, he sold that stuff for drug money. Anywho- No one cares Ryan… Pay the child support you owe. SMH. Those poor kids… Seriously. I’m glad they are with their mom and aren’t allowed to visit Ryan overnight
About time I stopped seeing people non stop bashing Mackenzie and praising Ryan. On TikTok all the stuff I see about them is praiaing Ryan for doing well and talking bad about Mackenzie. Which is crazy to me. All these comments are how it should be. He deserves no praise

Did anyone see him saying that of course he would be happy to help pay for the jeep that Maci and Taylor are buying Bentley for his birthday on Teen Mom last night? Yet, he won’t pay child support for his other two kids that need basic things like food and shelter which are a hell of a lot more important than the jeep he’s willing to buy for his oldest son that he’s just now deciding to be a father to (at 16 years old)! What a joke of a person!

I have second-hand anger for Mac. What a POS to sue her. She needs to pay for the kids he doesn’t support even though he can afford to. She likely can’t afford additional legal bills for this nonsense.
Hopefully she doesn’t get into trouble even if she did sell his belongings. He probably trashed them in his blind rage and his brain is so fried that he forgot.

Me too. He was given chance after chance after chance, again. When he DID go to jail, the judge let him out early so he could spend the Christmas season with his fam. He didn’t have to go back to jail, either. I’ve never heard of anyone getting off like he did. Over & over again. Clearly this judge was biased as Larry & Jenn seemed to be part of the same friend circle & country club groups.
Pretty sad when Ryan is one of the very few on the show that has a real job.

Do we know if Mackenzie even had this stuff to begin with? Ryan was a heroin addict a year ago, they’re pretty well known for selling all their stuff.
Even if she did sell it, it would have been out of necessity. She’s raising two kids without a dime from him and she had to repair the house he destroyed (which included her stuff that I’m sure was much more sentimental).

Asking for some kind of child support when he finally went to rehab and came out with a new live-in GF he quickly impregnated and “proposed to” despite being married to Mackenzie?
Yeah I was never a fan of Mack, but I did feel sorry for her for the way he destroyed that house. Addict or not, that was so low. And he has yet to take accountability for doing it too. I really hope she gets justice for that.
I agree. It’s crazy that a reality TV gossip site has the most reliable journalist and the most level-headed commenters. This is one of the only places that I feel like I can have a rational conversation with people online, even if we don’t agree on something.
The comments of people on other platforms acting like Mackenzie deserves a bad life forever because she made a stupid decision to marry him at twenty, but that Ryan is a saint for not shooting up heroin for a year (even though he’s still a total deadbeat) because it’s his “past” are mind-blowing.
Wow. My ex refused to pay child support until court mandated it, and they retroactively added back child support. So I feel for Mac on that sense. There is no reason he shouldn’t pay in his own, given they are HIS kids. So if she needs to sell stuff to support them, so be it. The fact he is absent in their lives is awful! And now he has another on the way?!?! Pathetic. While I hope he stays sober, he needs to get his entitled head out of his ass. Knowing how the courts always favor him, it would be awful if she got jail time for that. He needs to grow up, he can’t blame the drugs for being a deadbeat at this point!
I hope MacKenzie takes his ass to the cleaners! He deserves to finally suffer some consequences. I also hope the intro to Amanda with his kids is very slow. It should always be that way. Besides he doesn’t have enough room to keep all those kids where he lives now. I hope she wins big!!!
They bought a new house. She got custody of her child back. It’s a big house but I’m not sure how many bedrooms. I was also wondering if they had enough bedrooms for ALL of the kids?

Aw Rhine showing his ass again. This reminds me year ago when an acquaintance was going through a divorce and she let me read their person statements. Hers a heartfelt 3 page document about the struggles in her life as he cut her off from funds with a disabled child, her long hospitalization for a life threatening syndrome and still raising their other child. His was a page and a half, one paragraph about why he should have custody (because they were familiar with his suburb) the rest was about all the money he believed she owed him for co-pays on bills he paid for their children.

The good news is once his new baby is born and he will let go of Mack and the kids because he will have something shiny and new.
