Vinny Tortorella took to social media this week to set the record straight after his fiancée, Angelina Pivarnick, accused him of cheating during the Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 7 reunion.
On Thursday’s conclusion of the multi-part reunion, Angelina told viewers that the cast is “currently filming for another season,” before revealing that she “found out [Vinny] cheated” on her, suggesting the two were done.
After the reunion aired on Thursday, Vinny uploaded a video to Instagram allegedly “debunking” the “false claims” against him, during which he insisted that he was the one who had ended the relationship. Vinny began his video by reiterating his recent claim that someone, presumably Angelina, had hired a private investigator (PI) to follow him, and that this PI alleges that Vinny committed infidelity during his relationship with Angelina.
“ … I’ve had a smear campaign opened against me by the person I was with for the last – almost 3 years,” Vinny wrote on Instagram. “I slept next to my BIGGEST HATER and ENEMY for the entirety of our time together. She wants me lose everything I’ve ever worked for in my life, simply because I no longer want to be with her.”
Vinny refuted the PI’s cheating accusation by revealing an incident that occurred November 7 when he allegedly “found out and confirmed” that HE was being cheated on (“again,” he added), not the other way around.
“That [proof] is from the actual person’s phone,” Vinny claimed. “Phone calls, text messages, photos, videos, voice notes, etc. showing a multiple slew of men that I was being cheated on with.”
Vinny said he learned this information eight or nine months after finding out that he was being cheated on the first time. (He also noted that the fallout from the previous cheating incident is what viewers saw on the recent season of ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation.’)
According to Vinny, the first instance of cheating had been forgiven, but after being cheated on again– allegedly with multiple people– he decided in November that his and Angelina’s relationship was “absolutely over.” As for the PI claiming to have proof that he was unfaithful, Vinny said the PI’s evidence was “timestamped November 16,” which was after he and Angelina had broken up.
“ … I ended the relationship November 7 when I found out I was cheated on again,” he said. “I’m allowed to move on and find another woman that appreciates me and that I appreciate.”
Despite ending his relationship with Angelina in November and beginning a new relationship with a woman around December 12, Vinny said his ex is still harassing him, as well as his friends and family. Vinny claims Angelina has placed GPS trackers on both of his vehicles (which he cannot locate to remove), “shows up randomly to the gym” he frequents, has blocked his vehicle on more than one occasion and has sat in her car across the street from his home “for over 24 [hours] multiple times to make sure I don’t leave.”
Vinny also accused Angelina of firing off hundreds of calls and texts to him from random or “spoofed” numbers and of removing personal property from his vehicle.
“I am trying to move on with my life, let me move on,” Vinny said in his video. “I’m an adult, I wanna move on. I’ve tried to move on several times throughout this relationship but the other person does not ever want to let that happen, OK? And then when I become vulnerable, give in and try to make it work because I’m stuck in a toxic trauma bond … .”
Vinny went on to address the criticism he’s received for trying to make his relationship with Angelina work in the past, insisting that he only stuck around because he was promised that “this person” would change. He then described the relationship as being “stuck in a tornado” that got out of hand, but claimed he’s now committed to moving on– something he encouraged Angelina to do as well.
Vinny claimed that while he planned to keep his “debunking” video “short and sweet,” his lawyer would follow-up with a more “elaborate statement” in the next couple of days, if needed.
As fans of ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ know, Vinny and Angelina’s relationship was plagued with issues other than infidelity. In August of 2023, just months after the couple announced their engagement, Angelina called the police on Vinny claiming there had been an instance of domestic abuse; however, once authorities arrived on the scene, Angelina declined pressing charges against her fiancé.
As The Ashley reported in October, Angelina pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct (a non-criminal offense in New Jersey)– a charge stemming from a domestic violence incident and subsequent arrest that occurred in June 2024 at the home she and Vinny were living in together.
During the hearing, Judge Nicole Sonneblick– the judge overseeing Angelina’s case– ruled for a conditional dismissal of Angelina’s Disorderly Conduct charge, allowing the charge to be dismissed under the condition that Angelina meets certain probational requirements over the course of one year. In the event that Angelina walks the straight and narrow over the next year and is able to adhere to the requirements of her probation, the guilty plea will be expunged from her record.
Angelina has yet to respond to Vinny’s recent claims.

There is nothing charming or endearing about Angelina’s psycho ways. She has the benefit of watching herself on TV you would think that someone would see how mean & nasty they are and be ashamed and want to change. But Angelina really likes who she is so you can add that she is delusional to the list.
Angelina is a nasty piece of work I wouldn’t be surprised if she did cheat on and abuse men she’s with.
She’s cause drama with every cast member, she’s not happy unless she’s causing others misery.
Sadly men that are in a toxic and abusive relationships don’t get the same help a female does, also men are less likely to speak out about it.
MTV need to fire angelina
That relationship was never going anywhere from the get go. They both need to act like adults. MTV should have paused her for her vile and nasty behavior. He was just in it for the fame, which he did not get.
