Nany Gonzalez took to social media this week to fire back at fans of The Challenge who suggested that her recent split from fiancé Kaycee Clark was caused by her cheating with castmate Melissa Reeves.
As The Ashley recently told you, Nany and Kaycee called it quits earlier this month, more than a year after announcing that they were engaged to be married.
After weeks of fans speculating on social media that ‘The Challenge’ couple may have ended their relationship, Nany and Kaycee confirmed the rumors in nearly identical statements posted to their Instagram Stories– neither of which disclosed the reason behind their breakup.
“After a lot of reflection, Kaycee and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Nany wrote in her breakup announcement. “This definitely wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for the both of us.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way– we’re both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts & we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time,” she continued.
While Nany and Kaycee have opted not to reveal the details of their split at this time, many fans of ‘The Challenge’ have speculated that infidelity may have occurred in the relationship– a theory that seemingly ramped up after a fan posted a video to Reddit of Nany and Melissa kissing on The Challenge: Total Madness back in 2020.
Now that Kaycee is out of the picture, the road is clear for a Melissa/Nany endgame ❤️

Days after the clip resurfaced, Nany took to her Instagram Story to respond to comments from fans speculating that she had cheated on Kaycee while filming The Challenge All Stars: Rivals, specifically with Melissa, leading to her and Kaycee’s sudden split. While one fan claimed that this theory “makes the most sense,” Nany called the allegation “so sad” and “absolutely false.”
“Hey, so this is honestly so sad,” she wrote. “I know I don’t owe anyone any sort of explanation, but not only is [this] comment absolutely false, but it’s also very disappointing someone would stoop this low to make such a claim.”

Nany went on to share in her Instagram Story that she and Kaycee “still have so much love for each other,” adding that she found it “so sad” to see how many people would “prey on the downfall of others.”
“I will continue to live my life, unapologetically, while you continue to speculate,” she continued. “Just don’t be such an a**hole. Thanks.”
Kaycee has yet to respond to the recent cheating allegations.
