From talking about their man to talking about their birth child’s adoptive parents, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Catelynn Lowell Responds to People Who Say She & Tyler Baltierra Are “Stalking” Their Bio Daughter Carly & Her Parents
Earlier this week, Catelynn came out swinging at people who are criticizing her and her husband Tyler for being very (very) vocal about their unhappiness with Brandon and Teresa Davis, the parents of their biological daughter Carly. In a live interview on YouTube with creator Reality TV with Rei, Catelynn also gave her thoughts on people comparing her and Ty’s online crusade to reach Carly to “stalking.”
“I think it’s funny when people are like, ‘Oh, you’re stalking them,'” Catelynn said. “And I’m like, ‘When? Am I showing up to their house? Am I posting pictures of them? No. Am I calling them derogatory names? No. Am I literally just speaking about how I’m hurt and I’m speaking about other adoptees and their situations that they tell me? Am I speaking about statistics of adoptees? About open adoption? Yes.”
Cate also addressed fans who have told her that Teresa has no obligation to continue to communicate with her and Tyler.
“Well I did, you know, literally give her a whole human being,” Catelynn replied. “I feel like I’m not owed it but I think just a sense of morals and values that a normal person would say, ‘Hey, this is what’s going on.'”
As The Ashley has previously reported, Catelynn and Tyler’s relationship with Carly’s parents has been strained in recent years, but further deteriorated in May after Catelynn aired her feelings online about Brandon and Teresa refusing to do an in-person visit with them. In the months following, Tyler and Catelynn continued to speak out against Brandon and Teresa, who eventually blocked them and cut their communication with Carly completely.
“I’m not going to be silenced anymore,” Catelynn said on the YouTube Live. “…[Adoptive parents] can take away one of your most-precious things and that’s not fair….a lot of the comments that I’m seeing are saying, ‘[Catelynn and Tyler] broke boundaries’ and I’ve wrote to some people, ‘Please tell me the boundaries! I would love to know what boundaries that [Brandon and Teresa] have given me that I’ve broke.’
“The only boundary that they’ve ever given me is to not to read their text messages word for word [on TV]. I could summarize them but don’t read them word for word. That was the only boundary I’ve ever had,” Catelynn said, adding that Carly’s parents also asked them not to show Carly’s face publicly, something she says they’ve respected.
“We’re allowed to tell our story on television, which happens to be adoption,” Cate said. “And we shared pictures that we’re allowed to, that we had permission to share… we have never disrespected or broke boundaries.”
Catelynn and Tyler have criticized Carly’s parents for closing the adoption without giving them an explanation. While some fans have suggested that Tyler starting an OnlyFans (and Cate running it for him) was the reason Brandon and Teresa finally cut them off, Cate denied it.
“There is no link to that because our relationship [with Brandon and Teresa] was dwindling away slowly for years,” Catelynn said. “It’s been over a period of years. It just wasn’t overnight. I could feel things pulling away. Maybe it was just [Carly] getting older and asking more questions which, of course, would scare any adoptive parent. I totally understand the fears that they could have too.”
Months before Brandon and Teresa refused to agree to a visit with Cate and Ty, Tyler shaded them a bit online when he was asked by a fan how Carly’s very conservative parents felt about him selling risqué pics on OnlyFans. After a particularly racy batch of man-meat modeling shots went live on the site, Tyler and Cate received plenty of backlash from fans, with several even stating that Brandon and Teresa would disapprove of Tyler’s new, um, hobby.
Tyler clapped back, writing that he couldn’t get the approval of Carly’s parents even before he started showing his naughty bits online.
“What are you going to do in 10 years when the MTV money is gone and no one gives a damn about your [OnlyFans]?” the fan asked Ty in a tweet in February 2024. “Oh, and how do you expect Brandon and Teresa to respond to this? They don’t want to be associated with this nonsense!”
“IDK, I’ll prolly just move back into a trailer park where I belong,” Tyler responded. “And as far as B&T go, I couldn’t please them or get their approval if I was damn Mother Teresa herself lol. Besides, I refuse to live my life trying to live up to anyone’s expectations besides my own!”

Brandon and Teresa have never publicly responded to Catelynn and Tyler’s posts or interviews.
David Eason’s Girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole Answers Questions About Him & Jenelle Evans; Reveals How She Feels About Him Killing Jenelle’s Dog
Despite Jenelle’s romance with “August Keen” recently crashing and burning, her estranged husband David Eason‘s relationship with Kenleigh Heatwole is still going strong. After many ‘Teen Mom’ fans have asked her what she sees in the legally- and employment-challenged David, Kenleigh took to Instagram to do a Q&A session and answer commonly asked questions she gets about their relationship.
During the Q&A, Kenleigh— a self-proclaimed dog lover– also addressed for the first time how she feels about the 2019 incident in which David shot and killed Jenelle’s dog Nugget. (As fans may remember, David and Jenelle claimed at the time that Nugget was shot after she snapped at their daughter Ensley. Jenelle stated that David “doesn’t put up with that” and that he took the dog and shot her in the woods.)
Kenleigh admitted in her Q&A that she doesn’t “agree with” David shooting the dog. However, she stated she didn’t know all of the details of what happened.
“I also wasn’t there to witness the circumstances,” she wrote. “And I also don’t have kids and don’t understand the protective instincts that come with having children.”
She then seemed to shade Jenelle’s parenting of Ensley.
“I do know that children need to be taught how to be around dogs,” she wrote. “Unfortunately people don’t always understand that. But again I wasn’t there.”
Kenleigh also revealed why she was willing to date David, despite what she’s seen about him in the media.
“David has looked so bad in media when with [Jenelle],” one person wrote. “Now he is with you, he seems normal and not cray.”
“Everyone has done something crazy in their life under certain circumstances,” Kenleigh replied. “I believe people can move forward in their life trying to make better decisions. And I don’t think he’s crazy.”
Kenleigh also stated that she hopes to one day meet David’s kids.
“We would love that,” Kenleigh wrote, adding that she hopes David and Jenelle can eventually be civil and coparent their daughter Ensley. (While Kenleigh has a relationship with David’s oldest daughter Maryssa, she has never met Ensley, who lives with Jenelle in Vegas and hasn’t seen her dad in nearly a year. David currently also has no relationship with his son, Kaden.)
As for whether or not she plans to get knocked up with The Spawn of David anytime soon, Kenleigh said it’s a hard no.
“I could see myself having a kid under the right circumstances but at this time no,” she wrote.
Farrah Abraham is Trying to Make People Laugh– Intentionally, For Once
After entertaining fans of ‘Teen Mom’ for years with her confusing phrases, incorrect use of words and healthy servings of Farrah Speak, Farrah Abraham is taking on the comedy world next month as she makes her stand-up debut.
TMZ reports that Farrah has nabbed a gig March 13 at the Spearmint Rhino New York– a venue that happens to be an “upscale gentlemen’s club.” Upon taking the stage, Farrah— who is now 33 years old— will be performing a routine entitled, “Diary of a Teen Mom.”
Farrah shared the news about her upcoming show on Instagram, assuring fans they “won’t want to miss this.”
“ … It’s here, we’ve been waiting for this for so long and now your girl’s ready,” Farrah said in a video promoting the show. “And you know what, if I’m coming out of the house, it has to be classy, it has to be amazing, it’s gotta be worth it for this online mom to get out there, so I cannot wait to see you … .”
After name dropping a couple of comedians that she claims to know, Farrah randomly mentioned her former ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra in her video, telling fans she hopes “they don’t show up” to her comedy debut next month, as they (allegedly) did for her “celebrity boxing match.” (The Ashley isn’t sure what Farrah is talking about, given her “celebrity boxing match” never even happened! As fans may remember, Farrah was actually ordered in 2019 to pay $12,000 for backing out of the match.)
Anyway, Farrah went on to call herself as a “credible comedian.”
Those hoping to score a ticket to The Big F’s comedy debut can sign up to be on the guest list for the event, though patrons should know that limited space is available for the show and afterparty. If you’re wanting a more up-close-and-personal experience with the self-proclaimed “top female celebrity in our nation,” a cool $250 will get you the VIP treatment, complete with a photo op and lap dance, naturally.
As you may remember, Farrah warned hinted back in 2022 that she was considering a career pivot to comedy. During an episode of comedian Howie Mandel’s podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff, Farrah recounted the moment she felt a calling to the comedy world, assuring Howie and his listeners that she would be “going for it” at some point in the future.
“I had a comic bring me to something secretive, unannounced, just to see what the crowd would do,” Farrah said, while declining to name the alleged comic. “I did [comedy] for five minutes and he wanted to see the reaction and basically, he recorded it and he saw it was a woman standing up cheering me on and men laughing.
“So, I was like, ‘Even if I fail at comedy, I could be really good at TED Talks!’” Farrah continued. “So either way, I’m going for it!”

Ryan Edwards’ Fiancée Amanda Conner Reveals Her Post-Birth Plan as a Former Addict
Ryan Edwards and his fiancée Amanda Conner welcomed a baby girl this week, but days before Baby Edwards No. 4 made her debut, Amanda revealed how she planned to give birth– and recover from said birth– as a former addict.
As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Amanda and Ryan met while spending time in the same rehab facility back in 2023 but prior to that, both struggled with addiction for years.
Given that Ryan and Amanda are living the sober life these days, and the fact that Amanda previously shared that she was planning to deliver her baby via C-section, fans on social media asked Amanda how this would work regarding her sobriety. Amanda revealed that plan last week on TikTok.
According to Amanda, her doctor is aware of her “history” and knows that she is in recovery, claiming he is “all on-board” with whatever she needs to do to “not be on narcotics” during her recovery process. She went on to tell fans that, while epidurals contain “some form of narcotic,” it’s not enough for her to “feel it” or “get a buzz off of it,” suggesting that it wouldn’t be a concern for her.
“Usually where the narcotics come into play is the recovery process, like, they usually [prescribe] narcotics to help you recover through the pain and stuff after the fact,” Amanda continued.
Amanda then explained that her doctor will be prescribing her Toradol– a non-narcotic that Amanda said she has taken before to help with pain related to her kidney stones.
“It’s literally, like, a little bit higher of a dose of Tylenol,” she said.
Amanda admitted that her doctor has warned her that, because she won’t be taking certain medications after giving birth, she’s in for a “rough recovery”; however, she said she’s OK with that.
“Listen, it’s what, three to five days of pain, that’s the worst part of it,” she said. “And then I can handle the rest. One thing I am, like, set on is not doing any type of narcotics, just because I don’t ever want that taste in my mouth again.”
As The Ashley told you earlier this week, Amanda and Ryan welcomed daughter Presley Sage Elianna Edwards on February 12. While Amanda intended to have a C-section next week, she posted Tuesday on social media that she was feeling sick, suggesting she was taken in earlier to have the baby.

Carly is an object to them. They talk about her like an expensive gift they gave Brandon and Teresa instead of a human being.
C & T act like they deserve Carly to be around them. If I had adopted her as B & T did, then I would be cutting ties with them too. They don’t even make sense when they talk. Did they even graduate school? Quit deflecting things back on B & T. She was your child until you decided you could not take care of her. Take responsibility for once! Leave that child alone. She will find you if she wants anything to do with you two after you have put her parents (B& T) through hell.

Literally teared up seeing Nuggets sweet face… It was just such a small dog- even if she bit Ensley, he ABSOLUTELY did not need to shoot her. Makes me so mad… They could have re-homed her (which, yes, would have gotten them negative remarks about but not as much as killing her!) or sought out help for the dog to learn not to bite and how do we know Ensley wasn’t terrorizing the dog?! Anyway- I had to say that. Poor sweet Nugget! RIP <3
Just like anything we grow up taught, it’s possible David truly thought that’s what you’re supposed to do. I’m married and my husband has a terrible upbringing. He thought the same way til I made him realize that’s so messed up. Now he wouldn’t even consider something like that. He’s totally different. Some people grow up in really crappy situations and have to grow up and learn the hard way, how to unlearn it all. It’s possible David thought that was right but would never do such a thing again.
My husband HAD a terrible upbringing. We are grown now. He is 30. But it took him all of his 20s to unlearn all the abuse and the truly deranged thinking that was so ingrained into him. People can change.

The easier thing would have been to discipline Ensley and teach HER proper pet care, but no.
Could have removed the dog from the situation at that moment, threw her outside with the other dogs for a while to run out her anxiety and energy, but no.

Cate and Tyler like to say they ended their generational trauma and their kids will have none. And I see things like this and I am like… honey this is your generational trauma showing. You are modeling really unhealthy behaviors for the non-Carlys.
Cate was abandoned by her dad, then abandoned and abused by April. CPS placed Cate with her grandmother and the trauma of moving states, etc. Then placed Carly for adoption and that lost, then Tyler was threatening to leave her for like the first 10 years of their relationship.
She’s so scared of being abandoned that she does things (I personally think unintentionally) that make people leave. It’s like the phrase “If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.” Cate is like oh Teresa stopped responding, that means, I need to text more often. I need to keep sending her even more messages. She’s like squeezing the bird to death and then wondering why the second it sees an opportunity to leave, it does and never comes back. Then says, well, proof that I was right, she was abandoning me too. But doesn’t see her actions caused all this.
C&T don’t know what healthy relationships look like because they’ve never seen a healthy relationship. Their parents don’t have healthy relationships. They have never seen a model of what good communication looks like what giving boundaries look like of just respecting people’s privacy and respecting people’s space.
Caitlyns “I did give her a whole human” speaks volumes to her inflated self view. They are her parents, they raised her, loved her, and made her into who she is. Cait, you are nobody.
Three things:
1. I have consistently seen both of them refer to B&T’s infertility issues over the years. For two people so familiar with trauma has it occurred to either of you that was traumatic and it’s hurtful to have it constantly part of a public storyline.
2. Neither of you are a therapist and especially their therapist , so please stop referencing the choices are making are due to B&T’s ongoing fears and insecurities. I’ll bet they rue the day they were vulnerable to you on camera and expressed that concern. I’ve seen you throw that admission of fear in their face repeatedly.
3. You are public figures. You share so many things. I am not famous, but have family who share so much on social media. A few weeks ago I had a close family member in the hospital and was caring for her during and after (she’s fine now), but if you looked at my social media feed you wouldn’t know. If I were B&T I would be very closed off with them about things because I would be worried about how they would choose to share or not to share it.
I do feel for C&T, but their insistence on telling their story in a public way has been a big piece of what I think brought them here.
Anyone want to tell Cait that you can stalk someone without actually physically following them around? Anyone? It’s called cyber stalking, Cait. It’s called public harassment through the media. Both are things you have done and continue to do. I’m convinced she’s on here because everyone who says anything negative about her gets exactly one downvote. 😂 Interesting… GET A JOB AND A LIFE, CAIT!
Cate continues to display how little she understands about healthy relationships, boundaries, and communication.
She just doesn’t even know how to have good relationships with people. Her entire life is filled with toxic and co-dependent relationships. It’s too bad because she and Tyler blew up this relationship by not seeking help and learning how to actually maintain good communication.
Bounderies dear Cait are not sending her a blanket with pictures of your family. Not sending pictures, gifts and updates every week. Respecting the role of her parents. Don’t force yourself and your family on to her like she’s a lost kidnap victim.
Stop talking about her in the media.
Cate is the embodiment of the term “willfully ignorant.” She knows all about boundaries since she never stops talking about them and her *~trauma~*
You would think her therapist would help her understand such a concept. C&T need to get off social media and get actual jobs. Maybe some hobbies that don’t include talking about themselves or taking pictures of themselves. Time to return to the real world and move on with their lives until Carly decides if she wants to speak to them herself. That’s it. That’s the end of the story. Its not rocket science.

I feel she is more upset about not being able to film Carly because you know Mtv is offering $$ for Carly at 18 appearing on some kind of reunion and they have a whole family of losers to support (not the three younger daughters, they are not) just their extended relatives. So she is pissed about that I’m sure. Why are they not putting $$ into a trust for Carly for college or even after college? I know they are not her legal parents but they could still put money aside for her. I’m sure it would mean alot more than an email which is filled with nothing but Bashing B&T.
Exactly! Catelynn needs to stop thinking about the adoption from the perspective of she gave Teresa a baby. Instead, she needs to think about it from the perspective of giving Carly a life. Now she needs to let Carly live that life in peace.

Nope. No but. That’s the end of the conversation. For her to then go on and acknowledge the boundaries that she doesn’t believe she’s broken is WILD. The boundary is that the parents of this child do not want anymore contact between your family and theirs, but you CONTINUALLY bring it up in the media and then play dumb when people point out that you’re being weird. The time spent doing this video could’ve been spent in therapy, processing the trauma you’re so open to talking about but not really doing anything to heal from.
Or, or, you could use that therapy horse again. You know, remember the one you used for a story line. Brandon and Teresa need to get a R.O. against Catelynn because that girl is not wrapped tight, there is something mentally wrong with her.

Caitlyn and Tyler are both children of addicts as well. Even though they do not use (as far as I know) hard drugs (I know they use weed), they are still exhibiting traits of adult children of addicts/alcoholics probably without even knowing it.
